All these designer "bling" brands are the choice of the post teen Chav. The 25yr old that HAS to have a designer label. That to me is Chav.

Personally I would rather have an Armani suit than a £150 one from Next which is going to fall to bits in six months. As long as you dont wear it with the label outside, it make you feel good, and it lasts, then it is good value for money.

Chav or not, I dont really give a monkeys.

A very good suit for the money, ideal for work

 

I think it's more to do with how the clothes are worn rather than what they are (with the exception of Burberry)

eg ; Henri Lloyd jumper on top of Lacoste Polo shirt with collar stuck up, combined with short greasy hair brushed forward to create a perfectly horizontal fringe that pokes from underneath a Burberry or NY Yankees Baseball cap.

 

Any designer clothes with big logo on the outside is sad... I see all chavs around Kingstanding near Birmingham with designer t shirts with shell suits and trainers on, oh, and burberry baseball cap. It's like their uniform.

 

Lambretta is not Chav. Its just a brand.
