Add to that a dodgy ticker
But he walks OK for short distances, doesn't really limp (both ankles are bad, so it kind of balances it out). He looks fairly healthy, and isn't "that" old.
He almost regularly has to endure the "old peoples parking pass" brigade who somehow think because he's not a wrinkly cotton bud he is not entitled to park in a disabled spot. And worse still if I happen to be driving on certain occasions...their attitude is akin to a toddler that suffers with sugar induced tantrums.
The only ever exception was a bloke with 1 leg who had a moan at him (and the system), who was refused a disabled badge for some odd reason. But at least he kept it amicable.
Edit: Apprently this thread is getting too serious..so woo woo woo

Come on guys this is all getting a bit out of hand lets just leave it now. Its obvious that we all have some very strong opinions about this issue. I think its got to the stage where we should just let everyone have their opinion whether we agree with it or not. Frankly its getting very nasty.

Ali-B, my Aunt suffers from major arthritis to the point her hands and feet are heavily deformed but she couldn't get a disabled parking badge because her doctor wouldn't allow it. I know, through friends and relatives, people who have badges and don't have bugger all of a disability including the wife of a doctor who, apart from fits of anger, has nothing wrong with her. People have been screwing the system for years and only recently have the government tried to do something about it.
