I think I just lost the will to live...

Tony, could you, like, erm... shut up now ? Not that you will, you never did.

This is about a WR1 RR graph if I'm not mistaken ? Go drive your car or something, and let people get on with their topic.

I've seen a few comments about the colour but I've never seen it described as 'orangy' !!! You hadn't forgotten to take your sunglasses off had you ?

The original pics you see of the car were taken at a car show at the NEC but the lighting was terrible, very orangy, so this reflected upon the car (cant remember the name of the show and i was there.... DOH!) Iain Litchfield also had his Type 25 at the same show though

it was at the autosport show and it was the carpet next to the stand, which was orange, that was the problem.

Autosport show, and it was because of a bit of red carpet reflecting up from the next stand aparrently (wasent there myself).

er, and the difference to me Tony as a PPP owner from new is precisely what?

I suspect your response will have the usual smug smiley's as well mate. Yawn. My car is not modified by ME, but by a Subaru approved outfit, which is MUCHO difference, as you like to put it. As is the WR1, etc, etc.

Sounds very much to me that you've got a chip on yer shoulder. Let the WR1 boys and girls enjoy their car - it's the best new UK car there is, full stop.

Gubbins, don't worry.

Next time there is a meet, and he has his car on a stand, he'll complain again that no one seemed to want to talk with him.

How strange

standard means no modification?
wr1 is a version of an impreza
so there must be a standard WR1 then

Nice RR figures mate .

THOMO, there is, but its not called a WR1, its a Solberg special edition (as stated above, same in performance as a standard euro/uk STi).

Anyone who doesnt agree may if they wish view the Subaru uk website www.subaru.co.uk as all the facts are there

Tony, as I have been doing since October 1999, I read every thread in full before replying.

That's why I remembered your stupid smileys and smug bull when you had a PEEPEEPEED car.

Poor sod, standing there with your all powerful Impreza, and people avoiding you like the plague LOL

I'm sure you look as sad as you post, but no worries, we'll have a chance to "socialize".

So did you not note the part where i just stated that a WR1 is actually a modified car, the entire point of the discussion? (i dont think you did ) and then if you actually looked at the subaru site it would confirm it (the addition of PPP on the spec list), point taken?
And yes i like my smilies

Brian, ive run on that rolling road, its pretty accurate, i did my run with quite a few other scoobs though and it was a fairly warm day (70 deg c) but the "normal" PPP'd STi's were slightly lower on power but up on torque, which in Prodrives standing on the subject would be correct (the slight lack of bhp).

How many Sti8 in UK form are Baby blue ??

all i care about is
1. It starts in the morning
2. Its Baby Blue
3. Its gets me to work FAST
4. It sounds nice
5. It drives well
6. Its a Scooby !!!

MapQuest quoted 6 hours journey time and obviously we'd be sticking to the speed limits!

6 hours!
I do that trip in 3 1/2 (well slightly further south )
Not above 80mph, so max for you should be 4 hours.
