Hey Sticky....
Tried an Evo Lite this morning, ie the 260... Bit toooo lite, I'm afraid....
But at least it didn't dance all over the road like the MY04 STI that I had a go at a bit later. Having said that, I did rather like the STI, especially as this one had a few 'bits' on it....

The performance wasn't as towering as I'd expected. Decent-ish punch low down, but very linear, so no STI PPP type kick when you're trying hard.
The ride was comfortable, and no real issues with the handling, although on a mildly greasy road, it seems very eager to swap ends, at least until the DSC reins it in again. Which was probably the best bit of the whole test.
In truth, it's a very efficient machine, with a lovely metallic engine note, a good degree of sophistication and it would make a nice 'commuting' vehicle. But it left me cold.....

Guys, a bit O/T, but I'm sure you'll all want to join us (me & her) in wishing Dazza and family all the best for their newest addition. Brogan (not sure of the spelling) arrived today, just before lunch. Mother and baby girl are both fine. For all the ladies out there she weighed 6lbs 9oz (I'm sure Dazza will fill us all in as soon as he gets chance.)
All the best to the four of you.

Congratulations to Neve & Dazza. Best wishes from us both to the whole family and especially to baby Brogan. Guess the WYIOC Run will be a head wetting

not been around much due to work, but first off a big congrats to Dazza, hope all are well. will really try to make the next meet/run out but depends on work.
dont know if I mentioned but thanks for the contacts Dave, I managed to get the sensor from a guy up north for £35+VAT, much better than the £300 from Subaru.
And to answer your question Al, it sounds amazing fully decatted

OK team here goes...
WOW... glad i didn't have to do that... thats all i can say...
Funny moments...
Midwife..."My your tight down there"
To which, "hope it stays that way" missed the laughter spot somewhat...
Any how she did the deed @ 11:49 after only 1 hour of pushing...
I honestly would have lasted at the most 10mins!
God girls I've no idea how you do that!
Brogan and Neeve are fine now, they came home at 5.50pm...
so here are a few pics...
One the first Pic we took... Image your first EVER photo.. First ride in a scooby on the way hme too
The other a proud sister...
Hope to introduce her to you all soon, and thanks for the messages...
A warm thankyou from as all...
