From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
bob, dont throw the toys out of the pram.. you know what I meant.. All i meant is.. all the count is what their timing gear reads accurate / or in accurate.
All that matters to us is our datalogs are accurate / inaccurate but provide a basis to work from..
Your post prompted me to edit my spreadsheet for gear ratios to allow tyre size / profile / final drive changes
- see 22b.
What I should have really said is that speedo readings can change due to the tyre run out / circumference increasing with speed
12kg Centre is interesting to know! what make is that??
Does he run a gearbox cooler?

Ok, Ok I've picked them up !!
No there is no gearbox cooler, didn't think it needed one given it has its own sump and pump system for the oil circulation, the centre diff is, as Adam mentions, an STi sport option.

I was under the impression that all the earlier STi's used a 11/12kg centre, and that the up rated version was a 20kg, normally found on the earlier RA's ?

12kg centre is the only up-rated one STi currently do for the 6MT, I have one but I prefer the DCCD-A as I got mad understeer with the 12kg in. I find the DCCD-A gives me more options more of the time

Bob,
Ion reckon the gearbox can only handle the power with an oilcooler... planning on putting a thermocouple into my box at some point anyway.

e-mail me a offer ( simon@prodrive-usa.com )
Agree about the oil cooler, the spec C one is plumbed into the bottom of the water rad, nice solution.

bob I would have to look at the pics I had again.. but sump / or T'd into the pipe on the side would probably be the best place..
putting it in the sump means it could be damaged during box removal / refitting.. us norfern'rs are a bit rough when it comes to doing 'owt.
Simon, any shagged 17"s lying around too

Well done all Team Subaru at TOTB3!!
It was worth the drive up from dooon south, and managed to get some video footage of the scoobs (and others) tearing up the strip. Thanks again Bob for the chat re Haldor's car, and to the 2.5 litre brigade, daily driving those cars is impressive.
Hope to see it all next year, where following logical improvements from TOTB2, should be in the 9's ?? !! (NOS anyone?!)
