Oh, didn't realise it was a question.

In charge of power generation / utilities at the moment so yeah, it's usually me that shuts it down.

What about yourself?

PS: go'an tell us next time you're shutting down. Our CRT doesn't like it when the gas stops flowing.

PPS: have a pint for me.

260bhp the last time it was checked mate, hopefully a little more the next time it goes on the RR. Of course, if i could stuff one of the Rolls Royce GT's off here in my kit bag and fit it to the Scooby it may up the figure a little.

Back on Tuesday weather depending, too much sunshine and no fog for over a week doesn't bode well.

How's the fit of yours??

Did mine this morning, and it looked like it was tight just to the side of the diff. Went for a run, and at certain speeds and certain revs, it feel like the dash is going to fall apart due to the vibrations. Also, above 60, it's like sitting on a wacka plate (used for compacting dolomite etc, vibrates a lot), not as severe, but your *** does get a good massaging.

Think I'll have to take it off and re-seat it, these vibrations can't be right.

Been out in it again this afternoon, and it seems to have settled down a bit, but there is still some vibration there.

Going to take it off anyway and re-seat it to see if it gets any better.

Had a look, and I'm pleased I did. It was touching the driveshaft, and as the shaft turned, it was wearing away the pipe!! If I'd left it, I doubt it would have lasted a week before it holed.

A quick call to Ian, and he recommended bending the hangers upwards to drop the exhaust closer to the floor. Getting it off wasn't too easy, but give them a few whacks, put it back on, and I can now get my fingers in between the pipe and the shaft. Vibrations have gone, and it's not too low so it hits the speed bumps.

I love a happy ending.

Andy.

Mine arrived yesterday. But MOT today so i was retro-fitting the cat'd centre yesterday rather than the BB.

Awaiting the arrival of the gasket and then the stainless H&S centre will be going back on along with the BB.

Sorry to hear that Justin.

Mine is now on and **** it's loud!!

Passed the MOT this morning so swapped the old PPP back box and rusty cat'd centre for my H&S centre and brand new BB. Did it on a two-poster and all seems well, no leaks or owt, just loads of noise!

Special thanks to my local dealer (the one in Aberdeen to the local peeps...) who managed to give my gf the wrong gasket after i specifically asked for one to be set aside for me yesterday. She even told them it was for a '98 UK Turbo after me telling them the exact model/year of car yesterday... As the car was on the ramps at the time i went up to the local exhaust/tyre place with the PPP box where they found a similar (and correctly sized) one and was told to stick it in my pocket.

Justin, it'll be worth the wait, don't worry.

I thought it might sound a little harsh if you know what i mean? It doesn't though, just sounds meaty kinda!!

It made a bit of a din on my way back home though. I did have the back seats down however. Will see how it fairs in the long run.
