Lance Armstrong is THE man!

Armstrong is one of the most drug tested atheletes in the world.
It's all a cover up, JM. Leblanc always wanted an Amerikan to win 6 times, dontya know !
Those French are up the US's ***, read Non Scooby Related !
Oh ****ing deary me...
To me, his attack at Simeoni even proved he is a human being. Smart ? No. Needed ? No. Did he want to make a point in front of the cameras and all journaille of the world to see and comment on ? You bet. Including the risk of being misquoted for the rest of his life.
And I'm not even a cyclist fan FFS ! But he *is* (probably) the greatest athlete of our times.
Not as good as Merckx though

34 étappe wins (still 12 more than Lance), 5 time overall winner, you do yer Google...
In this thread, for me, you seem to bundle everything that is wrong with the UK today.
1) spout as many allegations as you can
2) prefarably don't know didly about the topic at hand
3) when people with more knowledge than you challenge you, ignore
4) conspiracy theories are to be posted again and again, even though they have been surpassed by the truth.
5) you constantly with a stiff upper lip talk out of your behind.
Do you *REALLY* think the French media wouldn't want to catch (or even frame) Armstrong ? Do you *REALLY* think the rest of Europe is a united blob protecting the Tour ? Do you *REALLY* think it was only in the last few years that some testing was done and some cyclists were caught ?
I don't even know where to start to educate people so ignorant...
You really are an island monkey aren't you ?

You know nowt about my knowledge of cycling
I am keen for it to be drug free as you, and have been racing for over 20 years...
The truth will come out sooner or later.....hands up who truly believed David Millar was drug free after all the protestations he made? He claimed to be so anti-drugs....and yet, he even succumbed.

In every sport there will be cheats, but its no reason to assume that everyone else is cheating too. Its a sad fact that because someone is awesome at what they do, then 99% of the world just assumes they are on drugs. Why can't people just accept that he is an awesome athelete who has put in the miles in training and therefore is ahead of everyone down to hard work, not drugs? As i have said, armstrong is tested pretty much week in week out all through the year, and no-one has ever found anything. If they ever do, then i will be the first to rip up all the pictures i have of him on my wall, but i genuinly believe the guy is completely clean-always has been, always will be.

Of course, the old pros would also take some of the sheen away from Lance as he solely concentrates on the TDF most years, to the detriment of other tours & classics.
The "old greats" (Mercx, Hinault, etc) rode in most of the tours & classics. Lance does not.
Nothing wrong with that, but comparing across eras is never going to be easy. The sport has changed.
