Christ you can be so patronising. Statements like that embarrass you.

T.G.
I doubt the child would end up being gay. I just realise (as I'm a realist) the levels of abuse this child would get growing up.

Adults can look after themselves but using a child as a toy to try and prove your ability to raise a child.....selfishly ignoring the obvious flaws in this plan is quite beyond me.

I would hope that most homosexual couples would have the moral standing to put a childs well-being before there whims and wants.

Well yeah, if a kid is going to be bullied they are going to be bullied. Having same sex parents is just ammo for the bullies - same if the mother/father was blind or disabled etc...

However, I'm not 100% sure I agree with it out right - sorry but I'm just not sure how I feel about it. I guess it would have to be a case of try it and see what happens if you get me? Sounds a bit clinical and would be very bad for the child if it goes pear-shaped but I suppose it could be allowed to trial to judge the effect it has on the child.

You can't just say yes gay couples can adopt just to cover your equal rights back. If problems develop (can't imagine what) then it would have to be stopped but I would imagine a gay couple would do just as good. I wouldn't want to be in the adoption agency having to decided where to put one child with a gay or straight couple.

I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't eh Telboy.

It's bloody annoying when I'm accused of being a homophobe, gays are wrong blah blah blah ****e.

I wanna get back on topic and not have to put that sort of thing, until people stop making false accuasations then positive input will be welcomed.

I'm on scoobynet....I really don't care if you think I' feel embarrassed or not TBO

It is not protocol Senior_AP, to start up another thread on the same subject as one that has already been locked. It was locked for a reason, as is this one now.

Please note if you start another one, it will be deleted.
