Chrome, what a worth while effort!
Will send you the cheque for the full ££££, pm me your address please so I can send it to you, and I have it when I collect also.
If I have calculated/estimated this right I think the deal is about £325 in round numbers, please confirm as you know all the £ s d involved in the postage from import location to you.
Great job done. Now, that GB on wrap....
Oh, and last night I was told I didn't need Permission from the Wife anyway (!). Will I get away with that for an Andy F turbo and Apexi FC???

Chrome, i'm therefore assuming £350 for anyone who wants the manifold and up-pipe.

That close enough?

If it is, please let me know here, and i'll e-mail you to exchange addresses, cheque etc.

This GB has got some momentum - too good to miss

Chrome, please put me down for a manifold, flexi up-pipe and a set of gaskets.

Many thanks,

Richard.

Chrome, would I be pushing you over the edge if I asked to come in on this GB for JUST a Walbro 255 lph Fuel Pump - w/ 02+ WRX Setup Kit (WAL-GSS342-K) $80 (£44)?

I can see you've got alot on your plate so understand if the answers is no.

Thanks

Mark.

PS - I would have jumped at this headers GB if I wasn't getting a TEK3 in a few weeks. Hope someone does another one before too long.

do you want me to send you a cheque for the manifold, up pipe and delivery to the you in the uk which comes to around £278 then when they arrive in the uk you can then say how much you really need for extra duty and delivery to ship these out to us, We will have to pay you the duty etc as you have the product does that sound ok

uh, where do you get £278 from?

manifold+upipe $420 + $48 shipping (12kg @ $4 per kg)
$468
+ 2.75% CC charge for currency conversion
$13
= $481 > £262

THEN

x 0.045 for duty (£11.79)
262 + 11.79 = £273.79
X 17.5% for VAT £47.91
274 + 47.91 = £321.91

thats how HMCE/IR do calculate it. I checked today. goods+duty+VAT.

C+E/IR will charge duty and *then* VAT on that. It should be coming over in one shipment from gruppeS i understand..I'd rather not break it down to individual duty and VAT- that would be a right PITA

ScoobyDoo69 --------------£625 + parcelforce/collect
Manifold,
splitter,
Sti Injectors,
Walbro,
Jun Eyelids- <-- (you need to let Max know what paint code you have if you want them painted!)

Markyboy- -----------------£55+ parcelforce/collect
----------------------Walbro fuel pump

Dyney--------£240 + parcelforce/collect
-------------------- manifold only

911 ------------------------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
--------------------manifold+up-pipe
Jimmy Dell -----------------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
---------------------manifold+up-pipe
RimP1----------------------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
---------------------manifold+up-pipe
telboy----------------------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
----------------------manifold+up-pipe
turbo_monkey_racer -------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
----------------------manifold+up-pipe
SteveBT--------------------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
----------------------manifold+up-pipe
JonJo ----------------------£321.915 + parcelforce/collect
-----------------------manifold+up-pipe
Abbylad--------------------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect
-----------------------manifold+up-pipe
Hoppy-----------£321.91 + parcelforce/collect

GimmeMore -------------£467+ parcelforce/collect
---------manifold/up-pipe/downpipe

Edinburgh-Chris ---------£467 + parcelforce/collect

manifold/up-pipe/downpipe
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All prices above are inc' US>UK shipping, UK duty and VAT
(You must add the cost of domestic parcelforce on top- or collect by prior arrangement only!)

*For those having headers!*
I would advise that you don't forget that you might need exhaust wrap - 2x 50 ft x 2"
plus 2 bungs perhaps...
TSL or Scoobyclinic do them I think... But I'm not arranging THAT gb
"paging SteveBT"....

If ANYONE pulls out:
a: I will be mighty pissed off!
b: we might have to rejig the pricing..

I hope everyone is happy with the above- thats the deal-
I thought it has worked out really well for everyone...

Brad

Edit to add- the above prices for the manifold/upipe are correct.
£342 was a **** up on my part! (added too much duty).
Its £322 (rounded up) for sure.
Works out cheaper for everyone anyway!
so silly me huh?

btw- its the VAT thats the bugger...
No US sales tax applied by GS, so we cant get around the VAT Im afraid.
duty is definately 4.5% (HMCE- tel: 01702 366077- tariff code- 8708929000 motor parts for those who doubt me)

That's pretty much what I'd worked it out to as well, chrome. Took all my fingers and toes, though.

As Tel says on the previous page, I'd reckoned about £350 all in, which would include delivery to me once you'd received the bits. May even give you a bit left over for a pint or two as a thank you for organising the group buy.

http://www.proven-products.co.uk/products/cooltek.htm
this is where i bought the wrap for the headers i have now

so you want £342

i never added the duty or special d on to my price as i would of squared you up exactly when they arrived

Cool

sweeeeeeeet thanks!

it was a NIGHTMARE to work out prices.... lots of bits of paper and some head scratching (and small exchange rate changes made a huge diff to the total cost )
and whole VAT thing was evil... a fab price until the dreaded was added theiving gits !

anyone mind if we round up the 'bitty' costs? ie to the nearest £1?

any extras should cover my phone bill to Max (US) and flowers for the wife!!

hehe np steve 23 for wrap is V good- altho u might need TWO rolls for maximum coverage of manifold AND upipe (and some spare)
BTW- oi! u forgot to add the parcelforce charge ya get!

individual duty would be a 'mare..
I have heard horror stories from harvey (hybrid FMIC GB) about customs being all OVER the shop with duty rates so wanted to be careful to work it out... most maths I have done in quite some time!

Forgive me for asking... but can additional people be added at this stage? May know somebody interested.

Also the price you quote looks to be a little out. You've added vat and tax to the whole amount.... shipping from the US does not incure this. So it should be $420 and not $468 that the vat and tax is based upon. Won't make much difference, but could buy everybody a mars bar

Tony.

er, i more members would be ok ....'spose.
going to have set a cut off for new GB members.. hows about this monday? i've had enough!! LOL

Um, dont take this the wrong way Tony, but- since when doesnt shipping from US take into account duty and tax?
HMCE said on the blower today that entire shipment is subject to total cost (inc freight and insurance) +duty+VAT = sorted. ??
I'm open to thoughts otherwise mate! did they lie to me? ?
or did I miss something obvious and get the wrong end of stick?

oh ****- more calculations ahead?

btw- r u referring to the guys that wanted up/man/DP ?
