The sharpie was bred for fighting and has three times the amount of excess body skin so when bit it can turn round and bite back that's the point!
just like the english sheep dog has too much fur to keep it warm.
most utility dogs have breeding in them appropriate to thier job.
jack russels are smal,l good for rabbiting

They were originally bred as gladiators in the pits for entertainment at night and for hunting, herding and protecting during the day. And also as a delicacy!
