and i've used 5w30 fully synth for over 2 years (not even a famous brand) with no probems wot so ever, even been rolling roaded at 262 with same brand oil.
does 130mph with the thin oil, once again with no problems.
but everyrone has there own say where the old oil chestnut comes round!
just my little say!

at the end of the day magnatec is enough for the minimum requirements the engine needs as long as it's standard, as soon as people get more power and start incresing the stress levels and pressure that more power exerts on different parts of the engine then it needs a different grade of oil to cope with it all. mr rawle is in the business of getting more power out so he recommends an oil that can cope with it. everybody has their own views and personal preferences. some people like it some don't each to their own i say.

G TOMO
Just my pennies worth
I would have thought that 0/40 oil would be better for shorter/town usage.
Being thinner, it would be more effective when the engine is cold.
This is when they say most of the damage occurs.
For harder/track use, a thicker oil may be better.
But what do i know
