WYIOC - 'The Run' 29th July
Before Dave answers Sticky's disguting question about top shelf magazines(*Cough* I'll have any spare for my brother
)...
I am always throwing my mags away... I will save them up and bring them along to the next meet to hand out to anyone interested.. if you have any spare mags you're finished with.. try recycling them through the club... the money I save should upgrade me to a Vanquish!
I'm sure we can help each other out by bringing along something we would have bought anyway..
Guys, I'm flattered.. thank you..

I'm away for a few hours and come back to find another typical WYIOC humour thread.
Al, I don't remember the quote, but I've had a knock on the head recently, so I can't deny anything
Oooh, look down there VVVVV Mags for sale on Ebay. Never thought of that for 'acquiring' the necessary before...
Back in a bit......
*goes away to browse Ebay*
BTW, found a beautiful Evo8 FQ300 in yellow (They'll see me coming in that !!!) with leather too.

Have you tried Scoobychrissy (or is it Jasemac ????), he's a scrap dealer IIRC. There's a list of Scoob breakers kicking around on here somewhere.
Here you go, found it

Oh, I dunno. Get rid of the countless unbelievably sharp shards of glass that are hiding in every little crease and fold and they'd clean up a treat

Hi Mick, you're up late. Bet you can't wait to get your hands on it
Next meet is probably gonna be another run out, but this time up into the Dales, which could be logistically tricky getting everyone north of Leeds in good enough time to make full use of the light night and ensure arrival at the pub before the chef goes to bed. I'll be starting a thread soon with prospective times and the predictable date (thurs 26th Aug) to give everyone chance to prepare their excuses for the boss as to why an early finish is absolutely imperitive that day

Hi Phil, given that I got 'lost in the car park' after getting 'lost on the A64' before meeting up with Dazza & Sticky and then never saw them again, it was unlikely I would get to see you either today (Unless you were lost as well of course)!
Saw Chris (wrrjones) twice though.
That Icelandic scooby was awesome. I want one........................
I think at 2 pm we were at the 1.25 mile point being hairdryered by the CRD Supra when it passed at 201.3 MPH......WOW.
Good day, now sunburned as well as itchy from thursday's fly bites.

Other highlights: The CRD Impreza flying in the air after arguing with a fence, then It's bonnet flying off 1mile into the top speed run & it still carried on!
The icelandic RCM prepared subaru was simply awesome(did I mention that already?), some cracking times despite struggling to get it off the line cleanly.
Chatting to Bob Rawle without realising it, then it dawned on me who he was! Top bloke.
