Do you really need oil pressure and oil temp as well as boost - I was thinking abt just fitting the STI boost gauge on the column but fear i will in time regret it and want all three gauges in the centre pod ?? (I plan on doing a fair amount of trackdays)
Any advice ?

Hi Trigger,

I wanted Oil Temp & pressure to let me know when it was safe to give the car a bit of stick. Pressure is also a useful indication that something untoward is happening somewhere.

Plus I had them in my Clio and did find 'em useful and pretty

Boost is probably least of my concerns. It'll only make me think, "why's it not peaking and holding at X"...

Trigger,

See the "Inside the cossie killer" thread on the "Member's Pictures" section.

That's what I'll go for. Mechanical oil pressure and boost gauge, electric temp from Autometers. Hoping that Mike Tuckwood may be able to supply and fit , as he's closer than Northampton.

Thumbs up

Nick.

We are trying to design a simple fitting method in for the pod, while still trying to keep the cost of the unit down.

Fitting I will discuss with you after pod is sorted.

Mike.
