how do you remove it mate (the cup holder)? want to fit something in there but could not work it out. i removed the 2 bolts you can get from the front but it wont budge.

Mine has a coin holder under the centre console lid (MY98)
A mate had his for over a year and was moaning about limited boot space for carrying long items - he hadn't a clue that the back seats fold down...
You can remove the bonnet prop and fit it into the bracket on top of the driver's side strut housing so that the bonnet can be held open totally vertically. Warning: if you do that and dislodge the prop accidentally with your elbow, say, while working that bonnet gives your napper a helluva crack and I'm speaking from experience
If you're trying to feed wires through to the glove box as I did to mount my Defi controller the centre panel in the 'roof' of the glove box comes out.
