Thumbs up

Still running in my WR1 so a relaxed right foot, (ie less then 4k revs) and most of my miles are motorway miles but am getting approx 300 miles to a tank with optimax. Only ever seemed to manage 260-270 on my 02Sti PPP.

When i had my STI7PPP,i used to average 230-240 a tank, with 300hp thats quite good, now i have a EVO8FQ330 which with a de-cat/frontpipe is running 350-360hp i get an average of 250-260 miles a tank, yet when the car was just a FQ300 was getting 230-240 a tank!,noticed that on my STI before PPP the consumpstion was worse, got to be due to less gear changes, wether either EVO or Scoob an average of 22-23 a gallon is pretty good with the power/performance we get...

I've currently done 350 miles on this tank of optimax, and the fuel light *still* isn't on.
(Motorway for 330 miles tho...)

I've had anywhere from 80 - 120 miles from a 50 litre tank. Depends how you drive but we don't buy Subarus because they are frugal.

Either your gallon is different to mine or it's actually a 60 litre tank in your car.

I get about 20MPG in my MY04 WRX (250ish miles to 55ish litres) with some hooning and some air conditioning.

I do mainly a 6ish mile journey on A & B roads

I guess that's about normal ?

I get about 200 from a full tank, that's mostly very short journeys to and from work and the occasional blat on country roads, I tend to have the aircon on most of the time, does anyone know how much that takes off the overall MPG????

55 litres is 12 gallons (I don't imagine many people go below 5 litres - I think the light comes on at 10)

So whatever you get from a tank divided by 12

04WRX no PPP ( yet ) always at least 300 miles per tank before the light comes on, keep aircon on all the time and no I dont drive like a tart. Did have 340 once. Works out at 29 -33 mpg. Well pleased, - my previous car a MINI Cooper S used to do no more than 26 mpg !

300 ish to a tank "taking it easy" anything from 74 (personal best) to 200 ish to the tank when your "getting on it"

Stock US STi, got 93 miles to the first tank! After the shock of that I went much slower and got around 120 per tank...

Only filled up twice so far, got 25 & 26 MPG, standard 01 WRX, seems pretty respectable, can't be driving it right!

pbee - your economy, if you drive the same way as you did before the remap () should be better than before - the car will be running leaner (i.e. mapped correctly) than as standard...
I actually got 24mpg during the BRD mapping session. I use a Link (self-mapped now, not Bobbed ) & get typically ~28mpg. Long journeys up to 36mpg, and I've managed to get as low as 12 . This is on a fairly heavily modded MY00 of ~400bhp . The AC seems to use more fuel than the engine .

How many miles are you getting to a full tank then? Just wondering as I struggle to get 20mpg out of my Sti unless I am calculating incorrectly.

Just filled up and got in 51.13ltrs and covered 250.1 miles. So I calculate that as 18.52mpg Is that correct?
