I've got an Omega Seamaster 007 ltd edt and it's a fantastic watch.

I was dribbling over a Breitling Mosquito limited edition today though. Only 60 made. Very tasty.

While Im here, a bit of constructive criticism.

You need to re-set your watch, if your going to spend a few bob on a nice timepiece you should at least set it correctly.

When your sweep finger (second finger) reaches 12 o'clock, your minute hand should be pointing exactly at the full minute marker.

Yours will be in between minutes, and its not good enough......

Fix it at once !

Remember this one yoza? Strange when I first got it I was worried about wearing it in case I bu$$ered it up.Now I think "It's no use just stuck in it's box looking pretty" & so I wear it as an everyday watch.

Flat Eric.

How long have you had that watch?

Up at Lakeside in Thurrock they still have a Mosquito and Lancaster ltd edt.

I was very tempted with the blue faced Mosquito.

Hmmmmm, not much.

They are better known as CWC ( Cortebert Watch Company )

They made 'mostly' military watches, of unusually high quality.

Any pictures ?

Im interested in the movement, so if you can pop the back and take a snap, that would be cool.

This has got to be a Chav thread because "Do you like my watch?" is the kind of thing a footballer would use as a chat-up line. (Mentioning no names - but Darren Anderton has apparently used this gem)

Yoza - Advice from the watch-guru, please.

I want a little electric device to keep my automatic watch at the correct time while I'm wearing another one - to save resetting the time and date.

I saw one in Cambridge but it was £550 Do you know of anything cheaper? I could always rig something up to the Kenwood Chef but it's a bit big for for the bedside table

Thanks,

Richard.

Nathan..
Since December 2001.They were only exclusively available through the Goldsmiths group.

They made 60 of each for the 60th anniversary of the first flight of the Lanc in 1941.Mines No 49 but I didn't have to pre-reg & tax it like the WR1.

My dad flew Lancasters operationaly from January 1943 until well after the war then went onto Shackletons. So the watch is a bit of a tribute to his memory.

Mark

Cheers for the info.

If they've been around since 2001 I'm surprised that all the ltd edt models haven't been snapped up. Esp as there is only 60 of each.

Great looking watches though and the model aircraft is a nice touch.

Try Ebay, I was told they could be found on there a lot cheaper than £550
