Ummmmm
Don't want to get into a crap fight, I just don't have too much interest in huge dyno numbers, hence the "who's done what" question
No offence was intended
Cheers

Jersey by car is not on my to do list Christian but thanks for the invite. As with last year, you and Natallie are welcome to stay here for TOTB III if you do decide to come over so accomodation does not need to be a concern. Could be fun with Halldor here too and probably the usual suspects en route Elvington.

Mmmmm....Prosport....
.....I think the best figure I got on the many aborted runs that I had was 460bhp at the wheels, at below 6,000rpm running around 1.5bar of boost. Indeed harvey even asked me if the boost figure was correct.
The next nearest car, IIRC, was 458bhp at the wheels running around 2bar, again IIRC.
The only way I could get a completed run, and therefore a print out, was to turn the boost down to 1bar where it produced 425bhp and 432lbs ft.
So, how about 'most powerful Scoob at exactly one bar'
Anyway, this is all just bar torque, need to practice utilising the power. I have a ten second car and am a twelve second driver

93lbft/litre/bar is rather high David - did it have a little overboost or does it have incredibly high VE?
E46 M3 CSL 89 lbft/litre/bar - is about the highest I can think of and is normally aspirated.
UK Turbo 55lbft/litre/bar
P1 61 lbft/litre/bar

Dont know anything about Ten of the best so excuse my ignorance with this question.... when you say final 10 - do you mean Scoob final ten? - as I doubt there will be any Scoobs in the top 10 if its an 'all car type affair'
Others
I agree with Mark re Power numbers - There is such a wild variation between RR's to make them ridiculous sometimes......(taking into account intake temps) -although this is the number that people see and quote all the time......... wish Well Lane was based in Bristol - I'd have a very big smile - instead I have Powerstation in Cheltenham which quotes about 60bhp lower than Well Lane!!....................

John,
there was no overboost - I am merely reporting the figures the RR produced on the day.
The boost control from the Pectel is draconian - 1 bar was the target - 1 bar was produced!!
432.1 lbft at 4340rpm, 425.8bhp at 5780rpm (which does seem a little low!).
IIRC on the bench dyno it produced 398bhp at 1 bar, in more controlled conditions, although the engine was probably still a little 'tight' as it was only just run in for a couple of hours.

dyno figure
Hi just thought I would let you guys know, we had the scoob at the dyno on sat, we done a run as it was run @ scooby shoot out and it made 495 bhp, we then changed the map and played a little with various other things and ended up at 550 bhp, we then changed a few other thing and tried the Nos for the first time and it was then @ 604 bhp with 468 lb ft torque, we then changed a little more and done one final run and it was going to be more but the gear box gave up the ghost so for now it is @ 604 bhp, this was done at star performance in fife on sat morning, the Nos is set on 50 bhp jets for the time being, so I must say we are more than happy considering we done a 10.9 with 109 bhp less than what we have now!!

I Guess a Scooby 1/4mile Table maybe in order
This question could be answered by having a 1/4mile table of all subarus which have run on a strip.
I have seen on the MR2 IMOC site a 1/4 mile league table of all UK mr2s with times, terminals, spec,R/R Bhp, etc. I believe before any posts all times have to be backed up by official drag strip slips.
I suppose as there are many quick subarus the question would be where do you start the table from. 13sec, 12.5 sec, 12.sec, etc.
Maybe one for Scooby Net.
Just my 2p thought.
