I got fed up with paying increasing insurance for "high performance" cars, so sold the Impreza (555 Limited Edition "N" Reg Import).

Use the wife's car and bought a 1980 RS2000 and with a limited mileage of 3,000 per annum + the car is garaged, classic fully comprehensive insurance was................£94.00 - thank you very much.

What insurance do you pay, whos it with, whats your age, and what car model etc etc ??

Cheers!
Its not too bad that - I was paying 1k at 29 with 8 yrs protected no claims - but then I discovered Liverpool Vic and got it down to 750 - on a MY99 Uk Turbo with rather tasty exhaust declared..

Was well impressed. Was over £700 last year and most companies wont touch me coz of mods.- Im too honest. I hope insurance matches the quote. They didnt even want to know mileage, mods, job etc!

For me 30 and Mrs 31
On UK94 Scoob
9 years no claims

Forgot to mention the SP30 when I got that quote - revised figure went up to £680. Ended up going with Norwich Union Direct for £609 (including extended European travel).
