Xtreme charge labour by the hour....with a FREINDLY Service lol.

It all depends on how easy it is to dismantle the dash etc and get the witing through from the engine i.e. If u have aICE Install and/or other gadgets already then it can take some time.

I was there for nearly 5 hrs BUT that also included my interim service and a turbo timer....For which I forgot 2 purchase the Harness DOH!

Total cost £330 ...... For the gauges probably £120 (havent checked the invoice!)

BUT

Like i mentioned earlier it all depends on existing setup.

for fitting you`ll be looking at approx 3 hours to get the work done. So merely mulitply this by your mechanics hourly price - you`ll probably be looking at approx 75 quid.

I already had a good idea it would be cheaper than that to get the work done by yourself (spoke to boyakasha aka Marc) but I didn`t want to get other peoples hopes up that there mechanic would be as well priced as you!!

Just spoken to my supplier who has advised me of the confirmed prices for the gauges. They are as follows:

Defi BF Turbo gauge - £119
Defi BF Oil Pressure gauge - £136
Defi BF Oil Temperature gauge - £104
BF Exhaust Gas Temp - £138
BF Water Temp - £104
BF Fuel Press - £138
Defi-Link Control Unit II - £60

Giving a grand total of £419!!!! Damn that`s cheap. (for boost, oil temp & pressure and control unit)

Defi Pod for new age impreza - £90
Pod for the classic shape - will have a price by the beginning of next week.
Painting for the pod is £35 - top rate job.

I`ll leave this thread open till I`ve confirmed the price for the classic pod. Once that is available I`ll close this thread and open an Official thread. This new thread will run for approx 2 weeks to allow people to get cash etc sorted out. The GB will then be closed.

Is there any chance the 60mm Defi WHITE FACE gauges can be included in this group buy? I have the control unit, pod and a boost gauge already but after a oil pressure and oil temp to complete the pod!

I can visit Knowlesy for fitting at Xtreme Scoobies too, although that depends if its Larry he's intending on using.

 

Jan - Yeah there`s no problem with getting an EGT , just see the 2nd page of this post for prices etc.

UHF - I`m afraid that this GB is only on the DEFI BF range which only comes in black, I don`t supose that`s any good?

Once I`ve got all the prices confirmed for the gauges and pods I`ll start a new Official thread - this will hopefuly be this Monday at the very latest. I then think the GB should be left open for about 2 weeks to allow people to get cash sorted out and for anyone else get their names down. Is that timeframe Ok with you?

Does anyone else have any feelings on how long to let this run for?
