Week 11 of WR1 ownership and yet another problem!!! This time with the steering rack (I think) - going in next tuesday to be looked at - hopefully be good to track (keeping fingers very crossed)

think it came out at something like 150 - due to my age and market value of the car. Still ringing around though and will take it out nearer the time.
I'm not out there to smash my car up though and will be racing my best times ... hence if people wanna play silly bolloc$s with me and cause an accident then they will get severely beaten when I get off of the track ... at this rate though I won't be on the bl00dy track if my car isn't sorted!

Just thought it might be nice to get you in front and see if i could keep up, interested in seeing what your car can do seeing as i want to upgrade in the very near future.
But with all the problems that seem to come with the WR1 i think ill wait and see how the T25 and the Spec C hold up. Not saying the WR1 is a bad car but talking to another owner today he said the same thing as you about having troubles and in his six weeks or so of ownership he has had the car for eight days !!!!!!! the rest of the time its been in the dealers !!!!!!
And if you had noticed from my last session at Castle Coombe i followed all the rules and kept my distance from all the other cars, like you say we are out there to beat our personal bests and to have fun

Wasn't making threats mate ... I did a track day just before I sold my old motor and some idiot almost made me crash big time - wasn't happy to say the least.
The problems I have had are ones which were fixed in about 15 mins so prob just little niggles that I exposed due to the way I drive it. I'm so over the moon with the motor that things like this don't really phase me. Guy at work has a Noble M12 and the stuff he's had go wrong with that make my problems look so feeble! If I was going to recommend you a car mate I would say go for a spec c!!
It's times like this that you've gotta get down and bow to the warranty!!
