You have to remember that the STi panel filter was designed by STi for the Japanese market, its an approved Japanese part, it may not and probably isnt aproved by subaru uk (but its still damn good

I have had this STI filter in MY03 now for about 3 weeks. Its Fab. I had the K&N in before (sold with the car from a Subaru dealer)!!! Having the dry STI filter in is piece of mind over oily ones and there is a definate difference in the high rev range.
Got mine through Marklemac (mate) paid, posed, delivered in days.

So, I'm running a De-cat exhaust TEK3 (From PE) and a K&N Panel on an MY00. I did have an ITG but PE said it wasn't a good idea and recommended the K&N (Their words not mine). They also recommended staying with panel rather than induction filtration.
Does anyone have any experience of going from K&N panel to the STI filter? preferably with a similar setup to me? Also got an HKS DV but that won't make any odds.
Cars almost on 50K and I've just changed MAF and Lambby pie sensors.
