Thumbs up

F355 had sports cats fitted just before Xmas - bit more power and the noise at full chat in a tunnel (any near the Fenay?) is to die for.

Everytime I'm thinking of getting rid of it, we just go upto Leeds/Bradford Airport and the sound from low V8 rumble to high pitched scream makes the hairs standup on the back of my neck

It's a bit mucky at the moment though and I don't reckon I'll get chance to clean it before we set off so no slapping me for not looking after it since usually it's mint...

Looking forward to tonight. Had a play with Rum in the WR1 last week and I would have loved to have been a bystander and watch/hear when those two went passed at full throttle!!

Seriously guys - not trying to rub anyone's nose in it - I don't even tell most people since I've had some very bad reactions...

For anyone who is interested you can have a good look over it, sit in it - ride out with me in it...if you want

Really wanted to bring the Scoob tonight since it's now got the TSL 333 upgrade on it, a dump valve and the AP Racing brakes on it

Kel How could we have forgottent that.. I do believe the car has been mentioned in dispatches elsewhere.. but we aren't snobs... well..

Ian.. TBH I don't think you'll get any bad reactions from us mate.. just some drool to wipe off, etc... nothing wrong with being proud

Thanks for the offer of a ride BTW.. I do believe I'm at the front of the queue!

Ian - Don't be letting Al bully his way to the front of the queue. He'll only pull funny faces, that's what he always does when he gets in other peoples cars

BTW, what have you done with the Brembos off the STi. Were they fooked or could I possibly consider them for my WRX?

The Brembos are in a box at the back of my garage at the mo. Just not got round to doing anything with them yet.

The disks and calipers are OK but the pads are finished.

Not sure if they will fit a WRX - I suppose it all comes down to what wheels you have and if they'll fit....

Steve, got any of Mr Makkinnen, in a proper car?

Guys...

"Due to circumstances beyond my control..."

The membership cards which will be handed out tonight are 'temporary' efforts, the proper ones will be distributed at the shootout to all those attending, if I can get my act together

...and as for the window stickers... don't even go there.

I don't know, months of preparation almost went into this...

Good gathering last night. That 355 was too nice, must have a spin next time (please). Shame Rum couldn't be there with the WR1.
Good to see more partners turning up, and the girlies all geting on so well.
Next meet is 24th June (I think ) which is just after the longest day, so let's see if we can get our biggest turnout for some great pic opportunities (get them shiney guys).
The Bridge is closed in July for a refurb, so let's have a few ideas about an alternative. Al suggested hijacking Buckles, or we could do a Dales run ending at a nice country pub for beer & nosh.

CU all on monday early (too early ).

Dave - end of July run out sounds a good thought, Mr Events Occifer....
Let's use The Bridge car park for the longest day photo shoot, then go for a July romp (don't get any ideas... )

Phil - glad you're OK for the BBQ. I'll PM you with details of the paid up bods....

As mentioned, I'll do a separate post for the Barbie arrangements.

Don't forget - ALL WYIOC MEMBERS AND GUESTS WELCOME - INCLUDING FAMILY.... SATURDAY 5th JUNE

Back to lower case now - shouting gives me a sore throat....
