Guys, I've just been speaking to Jasemac regarding meeting up for the NBO convoy. I've secured the use of my workplace carpark which is approx 1/2 mile from J41 M1 and has about 60 parking places. He suggested we also use the same meeting point for the Scooby Shootout as a trial run for the NBO. Is everyone OK with this ? If so, I suggest meeting at 9.45am for the NBO, and 8.30am for the S/S.

Discuss and feedback ???

Aye, you saw me cheating heading for the Sovereign Garage jet wash... LOL

Your motor was looking mighty clean by the way... Must be great to have it garaged... My car is covered in dusty crap after a day or two. Must get in the air from the local quarries... Pain in the ***...

I really must get a car cover...

Cheers

you'll be forever polishing out the scratches unless you wash it each time afore you put the cover on - just think of the trillions of bits of grit grinding away at the lovely paintwork as it blows in the wind - might as well go over it with a sander and save the cost of the cover

ere, this PPP makes a bit of a difference - H-B you know you want to...

are we having a gossip column in the newsletter? "HB seen with mystery woman (and Si)" splashed across the page

shall we contact the Mirror for them to fill in the juicy bits?

Andy, just what are you starting here then???????

Mad women on that street Joe, absolutely no idea what you mean

Oh Andy, the paintwork on my car is not lovely anymore, so scratches won't make much difference... At least it would be clean... (ish)...

Cheers
Si

Andy - If anyone prints anything, I'll get the editor sacked. Look what happened to that Piers bloke!

Kath writes "come on Si, let Charlotte have a go!" So what's wrong with a provisional licence?

Chris's view: He'd be mad to. Si now has full street cred with the pre-teen chav population!

Kath writes: Top drivng Si mate, never seen sheep move as quick!!!!!!!

Kath xxxxx

LOL @ you 2.... What are ya like....

Just for the record everyone, the "sheep move as quick" bit, that was getting out of the way of the bullet speed Impreza coming over Holme Moss to Holmefirth, not me getting carried away on the moorland in me wellies...

Honest!!

Si...

Saw the wave mate.... Spent the next 5 mins trying to match car & face....

I've got a better idea.... Why don't we all go to the Dominican Republic and have a BBQ there? Now that's what I call forward planning....

Hope you have a good one Martin! Cheers, Chris.

OK.. I've added the Dominican Republic BBQ (DRBBQ) to the events list.

I've found a nice place just outside 'San Pedro De Macoris' on the Caribbean Sea.. 40 Miles East of Santa Domingo (Capital).

I've pre-booked a coach to get us there and a 3* Hotel. Prices are reasonable at £900 for 7 days. Bring you own meat. I will be shipping my car across for the duration as there are some nice mountain roads.. join me for a group buy on a Hapag Lloyd container for £1k. 2 months to ship.

Beer is 10p a pint.. so the money saved here will be enough to pay for the trip...

Names below..

Dave.. Please provide details of some nice driving roads.... Ta

Al.. I wish

Do happy hours count?

Okay, put me down, but I'll leave the car and take the MTB. I'll need to get rid of the beer belly somehow
