guess what i played today while at Donington watching the FIA GT series

 

could'nt get my demo to work it keeps saying error starting due to DLL Draw? NOT HAPPY!!!

 

P@ul, that sounds like a DirectX error just install (or re-install) the latest version and it should fix it

Just tryed installing directx 9 again but it wont open

 

Long shot: Did you try and run the '3D Config'.?

Also I think I had a similar problem when I first installed the old GTR 2002 a few months back, when it errored you had to OK or cancel the box and just keep trying to run/start the game and it would come on and be fine after that, might be a similar problem??

LOL i have no idea what happened in the race, couldn't hear the tannoy over the awesome noise

 

The Vitaphone Saleen Was winning until the last lap but was shunted by a 996 Porsche at the esses and damaged the n/s/r wheel slowing him enough for the 575 to pass, must have been gutted after starting last to drop to 2nd on the last lap.


I've just looked on the GT website and the 575 has been given a 5 minute penalty so the Saleen ends up winning after all.

i was in the paddock watching from the melbourne loop, noticed it go past very slowly


GTR is looking very good, no more demos till it comes out in August now, i did ask for a copy of the donington multiplayer on a CD but didn't get very far

also coming out on X-Box too
