Well going the other way it seems from most I obliterated a 911 Carrera 4 ragtop the other day.......

I was behind him and he gave it beans...........I did too and sat up his *** till he moved over......

no comment on speed but suffice to say that when we stopped at lights he had a few kind words to say about the scoob. Nice bloke as it goes. I have to say that he wasnt slow and given the choice I would have loved to have been sitting where he was........

I once left a scoob for dead and I was in My wifes Jimny at the time.

I don't think the guy was trying too hard though

Standing start, dual carriageway, wife shouting at me to slow down, me saying "scream if you want to go faster - well it doesnt seem to want to go any faster but I'm trying"

Nose to nose with a 911 Carrera, me in my ppp wagon, he pulled away at 120 (obviously not mile per hour)

Beat most things in the M3 without huge effort but got spanked by a ford fiesta diesel at the lights going home on the A60 from Mansfield.

Going home minding my own business and a knackered diesel fiesta shoots past me at a set of lights so I hang on its tail. Couldn't overtake due to oncoming traffic - whoever was driving it didn't seem bothered about overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic making people swerve out of their way - obviously in a hurry.

So we pull up to the next set of lights (which is on an incline) and I wait for them to go Amber and we both floor it. The fiesta shoots forward and I shoot sideways by about 2 feet. There was only about 30 metres before it went to single lane again so I failed.

Very embarrasing

PPPMat - you didn't used to have a Scoob and got spanked by a Fat Bloke in a Jimny on the Banchory-Torphins road about a year ago did you ? .

BMWs are great at going sideways - especially on slippery roundabouts if I remember correctly .

You'll problably meet me up there too m8... also my fav road... but i normaly do the full run from Sedbough down to Bolton Abbey... HHooooooo luvly... amazing 45 miles of heaven...

Ate a Golf R32 - rolling start from lights, decided to gun it in 2nd...redline...it was bye bye baby in 3rd...the scooby managed to pull away quite convincingly (Decat, Tek2'd 99).

My golden rule is to only race in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear - thats when the scoobs at its most devastating!

He put his foot down and HE WAS quick but on twisty A and B roads...No Chance....Passed him at over three figure speeds and after a few bends he decided enough was enough.....

'NUFF Said LOL

They do say that the car is ONLY as good as the driver

Had a Corrado VR6 and SEVERAL Civic TYPE-R's LOL but they all failed ...

Keep up the good work and watch out for the OLD BILL!

911 Carrera RS (964 shape) - en route to Bolney last weekend on a good A road (A272).

He was a few cars in front of me and overtaking the ones in front at every opportunity - I caught up with him and at the next opportunity to overtake I went for it too and then had to ease off - as he was slowing my P1 up. He didn't try to get to silly speeds though - so fair play to him for keeping it safe.

M3 evo convertible turns out it was just due to come into my possesion for a couple of days as friend needed a quick sale & i had the readys, ready
Asked him to take it along a nice stretch me behind & for him to gun it, ****** couldnt budge me & we went upto 130 before a bend loomed.
I was totally suprised (MY04sti) as mines was just broke in & my friend had done 30kish in his so he was used to driving it
That was wicked, pity to say the M3 was sold that day to another friend for a tidy profit
