As you seem to know a fair amount about Norris McWhirter, could you answer the question I asked a few posts ago. What did he do/say etc that justifies your obviously strong feelings about him. As I said before, using goggle I found out he was anti-EU, but nothing that indicates he was as evil as you say.

Regarding the mchwhirters- both were prominant hardcore right wingers well known for holding and espousing racist views on immigration, Zimbabwe and of course N.Ireland which got the gobbier twin executed on his doorstep.
His paranoic views on the EU further reinforce the facts that the man was a dangerous xenophobe and isolationist as well as a rabid right winger. Still I imagine he'd be in good company with some of the narrow minded little Englanders that inhabit this place.

Well, we "little Englanders" who happen to be proud of our country will support it against the odds and those who try to belittle our loyalties and we are even prepared to defend it against attackers when necessary.
Those with the bitter sounding twisted ideals are free to live somewhere else thank goodness!

Come one guys - although NACRO is being typically heavy handed (and entertaining) Norris and his brother did have some pretty nasty beliefs that they weren't shy in encouraging others to share.
They were the tail end of the old establishment ultra right wing lot that included Mosely and his Blackshirts. Their views were probably shared with a big chunk of the older Royals.
Just 'cos he's old/recently dead doesn't mitigate his beliefs and actions.
Still - I remember my Dad telling me this when I was a kid watching Record Breakers - was devastated
