Completly std 94 WRX wagon (R/A TD04) apart from H&S 3" (no taper to 2.5")downpipe and Revolution 3" centre/Backbox.

More interesting is the torque

Peak was at 3000 rpm - also 200 lbft@2500 and 220+ from 2750 - 5300, all this with std boost control.

I thought I'd have the lowest power turbo considering this car is 220 PS (216bhp) on 100RON.

Well chuffed with the torque though

Not pleased at all with my run, it is an MY95 WRX with a full hks de-cat,MY02 tmic conversion, HKS SSQV and an uprated panel filter running 1bar of boost and all I got was a measly 249bhp/242lbft torque.

It made 268bhp/238lbft torque last time with only a slanted tmic and a catted downpipe running 0.8 bar boost.

I think the fact that I went on the rollers after only 5mins of arriveing and
the heat plus no octain booster probably didn't help matters much.

I will do another run when I have got my scoobyecu fitted and maybe try with an induction kit this time.

Still had a good time though.

Thanks to investigations, and chatting with Chris Todd (who was very helpful) and others since, it seems I have very conservative timing in my ECU - hence only 241bhp! This is with a TEK2.5 and full decat. Car used to run 250bhp with a cat in the downpipe and Tek1, so with the timing map sorted I should get better figures. Car holds 1.2 bar boost up a hill according to Defi, so it's not all bad. Still, had a great day!

What the **** happened to your power mate.... nice torque but the bhp just dont make sense... not the td05/06??

The Skylines Torque was pretty low but nice bhp - what are the mods - fairly low cost I guess to get to that power on a Skyline... not jealous about the fact that the classic shape scoob owners have to spend a wedge to get that sort of power - then again that was in the past......

How difficult can the mapping be... I mean I've only had about 50hrs of mapping over the last 4 years!!!!

I've even had my car mapped at 10pm in the rain.... scary........

Wish I'd been there...even with Optimax I'd have well beaten 367bhp........ but then I didnt as I was not there... its fun driving a car with just rear brakes/hand brake....

Just contemplating selling the classic and going for the latest jap sti...... as they are so much better built and handle in standard so much better...what would you do??? - would lose a fortune on the 199sti5 and someone would get a bargin the amount of money and time I've put into it.... and its only has 41,000 miles on the clock...... wonder what a modded sti5 would get price wise

I was quite pleased with 232bhp. The book standard is 218bhp. Not too bad IMO.

i'm really happy for him as it's been a long time coming, 2yrs plus.
Without giving too much away it's still a 2lt uk (slightly modified

) engine with STI heads, 3" decat and a big turbo! oh and methanol injection

Pete's Skyline imho was too much for PE, but put on a great show, now i've got to clean all the burn marks off the rear bumper
