On a side note, can someone explain to me why the Grooved only discs are recommended for track use?

It is the extra extremes of temperature & stress that the discs undergo when used on the track, as opposed to ordinary road use, that is the problem.The drilled holes can allow cracks to develop in their edges under track day use/abuse.

I think i'm right in saying that disc manufacturers can get round this by casting the holes in the disc instead of drilling them.But this adds significantly to the cost.

Very exciting, as I have just paid for my FIRST mod (that I have done) to my Scoob.

Did the transfer tonight. As it is different banks need to allow 3 days for it to clear, but the money has gone out of mine already!

Can't wait. Already got someone to fit them for me, but alas dont think I will have them ready in time for Bolney - boo hoo! But perhaps next Surrey Meet.

Will post some pics, comments etc as appropriate.

Right. I'm confused. Do 325mm grooved discs fit with Subaru 16"? I don't use my 17" for track, so I will have the 16" but do they will fit over 325mm. Can you confirm, please , Ian? Once it is, I will transfer the money straight away. If not, then I will have to go for 308mm. Let me know ASAP

 

The 325mm kit will NOT fit subaru 16" wheels , you will have to go for a 308mm kit
