Hey P1 - good to have you back - where you been ??

Anyway - back to the footie - yep Chelsea deserved their win last night. Arsenal should have been 4 up by half time but weren't and as a result Chelsea (who wanted it more) came back. Another great game of football and the best team won on the night.

Man Utd fans - you need to start concentrating on the current and your team - not others - Yes Chelsea might catch Arsenal in the championship - but I doubt very much that Man Utd will. 4 Years ago you were the best team in Europe and the World - Now your third best in England and somewhere between 8 and 16 in Europe. You ARE starting to sound a bit like Liverpool fans used to - which is a shame.

We have improved season on season in the four years of your decline as have Liverpool and Newcastle - Chelsea have aswell but Roman has confused things - I think they would have been challenging this year without his money - but we'll never know .

Get behind your own teams and support them - slagging off others isn't attractive

ps Spurs are now and always will be $hite

People in glass houses I remember certain people on this thread referring to me and my fellow reds as scum. I do get behind my team thank you very much, and I will fight back at anyone calling me or other supporters.

Oh and this is really getting behind your team.

All Wengers fault - tactically he is a joke. To start without Bergkamp and then to take Henry off - he has no explanation for that. After this I can see us giving up the League. CHOKE!!!

Wenger wake up you stupid bloody idiot!!!!

What's that got to do with me ?

I haven't called Utd fans scum (nor would I) ?

You're confusing me again ?

Never mind - you were a great team 4 years ago and you're now a good team - that's the main thing

SCUM (this is humour in case you're Rio Ferdinand)

Nobody said it had anything to do with you Jasey. I said "certain people" Look at the thread title FFS. I was merely pointing out why I had a go at Arsenal.

Jasey. I was arguing your point back at you. Showing you why you can expect a fight back from me. Simple.

Of course it's worth a mention! That's the OTHER time we beat Arsenal this season!

So you're having a go at Arsenal for something Scoob96 said.

I think you'll find that Scoob96 is NOT a gooner - If I were a betting man and I had to guess I would guess that he/she is a Liverpool fan - but that would just be a guess and not a pop at Liverpool fans or Scoob96

Scholes is definately my favourite player. He always gives 100%, loves his football, and hates the press. Can't tackle worth a damn, but he never seems to be malicious, so most of the time he gets away with it.

And I don't know how he manages to slip un-noticed and unmarked into the opponents' penalty area all the time with hair that colour!

I still don't get where you are getting the Fletcher-dirty player thing from.

I'm sorry I didn't hear or see a thing involving Fletcher and bad tackles. I didn't hear the BBC commentators mention it at all, nor that Tyler plonker on Sky on the highlights? I really can't see what the problem was. He is a lightweight.

If you think Fletcher is a fierce tackle, I hate to think what you would think on Djembax2.

Keane and Viera have always had a mutual respect. They are both true giants of the game. If I could take one player from Arsenal it would be Viera, in a snap.

I was watching a game a few weeks ago, and Solskjaer was watching with his son. The camera picked them out, and one commentator said to the other "so which one's the son?".

I thought it was quite funny.....

jasey - been moving job location, buying house etc so dont spend as much time on here as used to.

I dont agree we have been crap for the last 4 seasons. This has been our worst by far and we just havent had the consistency required. We still have enough to beat anyone when required and weve done well enough to win 2 and draw 2 outta 4 played V Arsenal.

Fletcher is utter **** IMHO. The number of times he gives the ball away.

Agreed Scholes is poor at tackling as is mostly mistimed rather than deliberate.

Ronaldo impressed me against Arsenal - best game hes had at Utd. Bellion looks promising as very quick and likes to attack.

I would have Henry over Viera any day. I think Viera bottled it on sat and tried a few dives, backed into players. Just seemed like he wasnt up for a physical match IMHO. Still a class player though.

These two matches against Pool and Newcastle are vital especially as Henry wont be playing either.

Simon.

"Fletcher is utter **** IMHO"

I rate him, and centre mid is his best position. He'll improve as well as he matures..... I wonder how he'd compare to Keane at the same age?

I think you will regret saying that in a couple of years. He is way beyond what Beckham was at his age. He just hasn't scored from the halfway line yet.

He will turn into a great player. He's already very good.

And Henry is the bottler. Viera would be a wise Keane replacement after next year.

I suggest you revise your utd history as I seem to recall mr beckham doing rather well at the age of 20, some memorable performances in our FA Cup run. And somehow I dont ever see Fletcher having enough class to be playing with players like Raul, Zidane, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos and Figo.

Simon.

I'm afraid I disagree.

I also know my United history very well.

You disagree with what? That Beckham was playing some blinding football 95/96?

Beckham at twenty was certainly showing talent, but he wasn't playing consistently well in the first team. As is Fletcher.
