Gooners vs Man U scum
Mr Forgetful - my ******* Ar$e - got a drugs test - I know I'll move house and turn off my mobile phone for 3 days - I know Rio is thick but nobody is that thick !
Arsenal rough up Ruud Van Nistelrooy (for being a diving dutch nobber) and we get you lot banging on about what a disgrace it all was and Rio misses a drugs test for whatever reason and cannot be contacted and you all say he's just forgetful.
Maybe you're happy for all the little red devils thinking it OK to take drugs - but I aint - take you heads out of your sand pits (you can replace sand pits if you like) and get Rio out of Old Trafford - before he maybe misses another test !
And I know we have our own problems with diving dutch nobbers - that doesn't mean I like it or approve of it !

Consider that Rio made his way back to Carrington straight away. Met the testers, who refused to take the test as it was out of schedule. Also consider that Rio then offered a hair sample that would irrevocably prove his innocence as a drugs cheat.
You need to consider plenty of things before you accuse people of being something they are not. He is an ****, no one is disputing that, he is also stupid. But he is not a drugs cheat.
What exactly does Ruud have to do with this?

Ruud has nothing to do with this - I'm using the example of Arsenal to show the double standards used within Old Trafford. Our own players can do what they want and we'll back them 100% but anyone else will get the full "holier than thou" treatment. And before you start banging on about Wenger being the same I agree - it's time to get some honesty back into football from everyone !
I was very careful to state the Rio only missed a drugs test - it's up to individuals to decide why - and there will be plenty of people that think he's hiding something - You think he's thick - I think he's hiding something.
I wonder if he'll ever play for Utd again ...

I *KNOW* he is stupid.
As for whether he will be playing for us next season, in all honesty I think he is already sold.
The double standards with Ruud, was that we defended Rio when only he had done wrong and hurt his own team and fans. The monkey face who jumped all over Ruud was having a go at another player from another team, and got off lightly. Nothing to do with your chairman though.

What about Pires elbow. Viera 2nd challenge? Lemon still on the pitch?
Look, its a mans game, there's hard tackles everywhere from both sides. What is annoying is that there's loads of whinging about it. (I believe Reyes has miraculously recovered from his life threatening injury btw) Ruud was jumped all over by a slimebag for no reason other than missing a penalty (which was a penalty) he tried to walk away and was mobbed.
That is very different from a hard tackle, very very different.

I asked you about Roy Keane - you are simply proving the point I made earlier - which is if you are in the Red of Man Utd you can do what you want and everyone else is cheating, mokey faced, (french/ italian / dutch) nobbers.
So Monkey face got off lightly and Roy "I'm gonna Kill you" Keane is a god that all little Red Devils should aspire to.
Are You Alex Fergusson - when do I get my prize ??

What are you talking about?
I wasn't complaining about Pires elbow, Viera or any of the hard challenges. So why are you saying that its one rule for us one for you?
I know Keane tackles hard, I know Viera does. I also know its part of the game so I don't whinge about it. I only complain when it has nothing to do with the ball.
No, I'm not Fergie, but you sound like "I didn't see it" Wenger
The thing about that Keane-Haaland was that Haaland went out to injure Keane in round one of that incident the year before. Keane did the same back. I'm not saying it was right, neither has Fergie, or Keane himself. Whats your point?

When I asked you about Roy Keane's "Tackle" on Haaland you said it was "a hard tackle."
I question you further and you change your mind to "it was an attack fuelled by revenge and wasn't right"
Sorry if you're confusing me !

Sorry, my mistake. I assumed at first you were talking about the hard tackle in this weekends game where Keane escaped a yellow.
Even so, you are again wrong in what you say. Nobody ever said that was the right thing to do. Does what Keane did excuse Monkey boy from what he did to Ruud? I think not.

I've already said (on another thread) that I thought the game on Saturday was a good cup game (and that the right team won) - I don't suffer from the same disease as Wenger does
.
Keane's tackle on Pires was the closest I came to getting upset with Man Utd - but I let him off with it as Pires shouldn't have been on the park at that point anyway !
(And Lehman was lucky - very lucky)
(And Dennis needs to get some practice at diving in - he's not in the same league as Ruud).
There you go - Honesty.
Oh - And the stuff that went on at Old Trafford was handbags - nothing more !

At last some sort of agreement. It may have been handbags, it was out of order though. At least we managed to **** Ashley Cole off again.
You have to admit though Ruud has quit his diving this season. You watch him, he works hard and stays up. Although it does seem that Gary Neville wants his job though

Yep - Ruud seems to have quit the diving for now - and he's much better for it !
But he still misses too many easy chances - which is probably why he used to dive so much - put him 0-10 yards away and he's the best striker there is - much further away and he starts to struggle - at least now he stays on his feet and tries to put someone else in - much better to watch !
Still - no time to chat about Utd - off to watch CL Footie

Man Utd scum only won because that cheating tw@t of a referee deliberately ignored two hand ball incidents by Silvestre in the penalty area. I will agree the second one can be deemed ball to hand but the firast one was deliberate and a clear penalty with no debate. The FA are cheating w@nkers for siding so much with Man Utd. They had the farce last year of banning Sol Cambell incorrectly for a stupid number of games and then they go and let Man Utd commit penalty offences during the FA Cup semi final and no one batters an eye lid. The FA can **** off the cheating tossers.
As for Man Utd fans saying Arsenal are dirty HAHAHAHAHA what a bunch of hypocrites you are, that fouling little **** Fletcher is one of the dirtiest players I have ever seen. Even the commentators couldnt believe how many fouls he was getting away with. Lauren did one foul and got an immediate yellow, Fletcher got away with murder the whole game. Whats Ferguson doing, sucking the Chief of the FA's **** or what?!

The Chairman is not the Chief, im talking about Mark Palios who replaced that little dweeb who ran it before.
So you see nothing wrong in the fact that the referee let two hand ***** in the penalty area go with out even raising an eyebrow? But then as you are a Man Utd supporter I wouldn't expect any other reply than no to that
The FA want to try drumming some consistency into their referees and make them responsible for their actions so if they **** up in a game they get banned for a number of games or get made to referee lower divisions etc. Might make them think a bit more clearly about the decisions they make and how much they let Man Utd get away with. Its not just Gooners who feel this way, I think u'll find any club who plays against Man Utd have grievances with how the referee lets Man Utd players get away with far more than anyone else. A good example on Saturday was Lauren getting a yellow card for a first offence which wasn't outrageous or anything yet Fletcher had been fouling many times up to that point and not had even a sign of a yellow card flashed at him. Keane also got away with far harder tackles. Thats not consistent, its unfair plain and simple and there is no excuse for it. It ruins games.
It was all a a farce anyway with the FA making sure a division one club got to the final. It should have been the final on Saturday. I am not totally off my trolly about Man Utd
Scholes goal was good in terms of the power he put on it, just a shame the penalty claims were such an issue for us Gunners. Would have been an excellent game at 1-1.

I wasn't going to say any of this because its pointless, but.
If you are going to have a go a Silvestre. What about the Giggs penalty, how was Lemon still on the pitch, how did Pires stay on the pitch, Viera deserved a second booking too.
You obviously see through tunnel vision, to have a go at the Silvestre ball to hand incidents and ignore everything else is ludicrous. I have a couple of mates who are true gooners. Every game at the library they are there, like tonight. They are also proper ABU's but neither of them can say that Arsenal deserved to win OR draw on Saturday. Arsenal were outplayed, simple.
It has nothing to do with the FA, I brought up David Dein for one reason. If you were the Chairman of a football club and also the Chairman of the FA. Do you think you would allow another team to be treated favourably above yours?
Do you? Thought not. Thats what makes your anti-United ABU offensive sound silly.
I tell you I've heard some crap off CITEH fans before, but this is beyond any of that

Yeah and I have heard some **** from Man Utd fans before but yours goes beyond that when you think Lehman should be sent off for a push when the ball was out of play and off the pitch. If it had been on the pitch during play yes he should have gone but that wasn't the case. Now the commentators said the same thing so unless your some sort of professional above their expert opinion then your the one with amazingly biased opinions - but thats the majority of Man Utd fans
How you can think 2 hand ***** in the penalty area that arnt called equate to a push on a player out of play and off the pitch is beyond me.
As for Vierra's tackles you really are taking the p!ss in comparison to Keane and Fletchers tackles - both of them should have been off the pitch on more than one occasion.
Hahaha oh yeah both ball to hand incidents were they? Thats tunnel vision if ever I have seen it. Its called cheating.

On the pitch/off the pitch, ball out/in play - it doesn't matter. The Lemon should have walked.

The wording of the rule is "handles the ball deliberately". The "deliberately" is therefore up to the interpretation of the referee.
In the incidents in question, I think Silvestre was guilty of poor control - nothing more - and the referee got it right. I also admit that I'm a bit biased. But to paraphrase a quote from the film "Uncle Buck" - "I'm a fan - that's my job!"
P.S. Rules can be found here. But as a Arsenal fan I'm guessing you're not that interested.

Nah not interested at all now, more interested in watching Millwall cause absolute havoc at the Millenium Stadium when they turn up
Still think its a joke they are there in the first place but like I say (in previous threads) thats down to the FA and its policy of rigging the draw
I totally agree that after tonight its more than possible that Arsenal could throw their lead away in the space of a few days. We didn't play well tonight for most of the game in particualr the last 25 minutes and with the sort of drop in moral getting knocked out of the Champions League and the FA Cup will cause i'm not looking forward to the weekends games.
But then making us play 2 premiership games in 3 days after playing in the Semi Final of the FA Cup and the Quarter Finals of the Champions League a few days earlier is outrageous - not something Man Utd ever get faced with, the FA seem to like to give them plenty of space between their games. Ooh I wonder why that could be, nothing to do with giving them an upper hand over other teams? Nah that would just be impossible wouldn't it?

Oooh do I detect a little bitterness in the Arsenal fans tonight?!! Biggest problem with the gooner fans is that when things are going their way they're all smiles and have plenty to say but as soon as the tables turn the world's against them! Life's full of ups and downs, some you win some you lose. Stop whinging about conspiracies and who's to blame and get on with it - the only reason Arsenal are out of the two cups is purely cos they were beaten by better teams on the day. Both games were there to be won. You've won more games than most if not anyone this season - just a shame you couldn't have won the two that mattered over the last few days! Chins up boys you still have a chance of the league!

7 games in 22 days. Man united went on to win the Treble.
If you want to be a great team, you've got to pull out the results when it counts.
This happens every year, by the way. The quarter-finals of the Champions League and the semi finals of the FA cup are always just before Easter, when there is an extended Premiership timetable. You just haven't noticed because Arsenal haven't got this far before.

dharbige - glad you pointed that out as saved me pulling up those fixtures. I never heard so much whinging in my life. You lost as you bottled it, arsenal looked anxious and scared in both matches which you cant afford to do.
We have been very poor this season and most would like to blame it all on losing becks and rio but I dont think thats the only reason, players have been lazy and lacking in confidence (wes brown has had a particular poor stint).
Arsenal have been very consistent this season and maybe the pressure from this has been too much over the last week - the bubble had to burst and it has. If a week ago anyone would have said that the only thing Arsenal would win this season is a record for unbeaten games in the prem then most would have laughed, this is now highly possible. They have to bounceback this weekend with a win and a draw I feel.
I must admit I have enjoyed seeing Arsenal lose these last two games but I will also admit that they have played some of the best football Ive seen this season. Respect to them for that and I would still have Henry at OT without a doubt
Simon
P.S. And please you fellow utd supporters dont make out like we have won anything this season yet (other than the CS which is hardly worth a mention). We still gotta beat Millwall so could very well end up trophyless.
