Anyone wanna bid on my Scoobysport memorial exhaust?

A sad day for the Scooby community, if it isn't an April Fool. Good luck for the future, Pete.

Sad news to hear the demise of the second company to supply parts to the UK Subaru aftermarket.

Over the years Pete and I have become good friends and his prescence in the market will be missed. I'm sure we haven't heard the last if him though......

Pete, I'll speak to you tomorrow mate.

All the best

Pete you the guys and Pat sorted me out when i needed a re-map on new years day, when nobody else would entertain the idea. Thanks again all the best for the future, everybody at scoobysport.
I hope you can recommend somebody to me to help finish my project ie, more re-maping.

Once again all the best to you all.

On the assumption that this isn't some bizarre Fools 'joke', I'll sorely miss ScoobySport. They've worked on my car many times in the last couple of years, and have been outstanding throughout. The result is that I have a car I always look forward to driving and that never fails to make me smile.

I'll need to find a different specialist now. Someone's gotta take car of my baby. Who, if not SS?

Best of luck in the next venture. Very much looking forward to seeing what it is.

I got a SS BB back in 98 for my UK Turbo, many was the day I went out for a fun run and folded the back seats down to hear it roar louder. Sad news.

Never been down to ScoobySport, but I've always loved the sound of a full SS system

Good luck with the future Pete, hope you'll still stay on the scene even if not as a trader

Unhappy Sad day :-(

I've been a Scoobysport customer ever since I got my first scoob. I picked up my new RB5 and was at Scoobysport an hour later to have my back box fitted. I've spent many happy Saturdays down there having things done to the car, chatting to all the other scoooby owners who were having their car 'tinkered' with.

Pete - all the best for the future - What will you do now?

On behalf of everyone from Scoobycity I'd like to say how sadend we are at this news. Pete was one of the first to put his hand in his pocket to support us 2 years ago when we needed to generate revenue from advertising.

The end of an era.

NO NO NO

Never spent a lod on mods myself, but Pete got most of the money I did after Mr Woods and company. Everytime I hear a rumble on the road I think of a Scoobysport back box. Always remember IWOC and buying my first backbox from Pete before he went full time with Scoobysport. Shame to see so many inferior companies surviving at the expense of Pete.

Hope it all works out.

Jonathan

I dont think some people will realise how much more he could of done to grow Scoobysport had he not spent so much time growing SIDC and the community that is second to none.

Just like to add my thanks to Pete and ScoobySport for their dedication, service and great products for me/PTMW! over the last 4 and half years.

I've used SS for all my handling & braking mods and to say that I am still deeply impressed with the packages that they put together, turning a standard UK wagon into a track monster ( ) yet one that is totally at home on a familly shopping trip.

Recently, they have looked after all my servicing and an engine rebuild after Brands with dedication and enthusiasm.

Pete's always been there to offer advice, even when no financial gain to himself/SS and when something went wrong with PTMW! today, I was looking forward to a visit and a yack, only to find out that SS will be no more

I have always found the standard of service and professionalism at SS second to none and I will miss it and them sorely.

Pete, thanks again for all your help and friendship over the years and I wish you all the best for the future.

Echo all the above and just as shocked.

Pete, hopefully you'll still come down to the Halfway House, there'll always be a lasagne with your name on it

Best of luck with whatever you do,

There's not much that I can add to what has already been said, but I'll have a chat with Pete tomorrow. A sad day indeed to lose one of the pioneers of Subaru tuning in the UK

At the risk of sounding like a plug, I would just briefly like to point out that for all those customers whose cars I have mapped with Scoobysport, I will be continuing to offer support, advice and assistance for those who may require it. As always the advice that "if it doesn't feel right, get in touch" still stands. Contact details may be found in my profile.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pete for all the fond memories, his contribution to the Subaru community and to wish him all the best with whatever path he chooses to follow now...

Pat.

My picture addition. This was taken at Croft a few years back when the UK300 had just been released. Mike Wood was also there demo'ing the car.

Great great shame :

Pete was good enough to fit my Prodrive kit for my MY00 when I sourced it from elsewhere and has been one of the most solid supports of Scoobydom for more years than I can remember.

So... the big question now... what's Pete doing next? SaabySport? AudySport? PLEASE not BMWSport

Best of luck Pete

Default Feeling Sorrow

Hi,

I'm new to the Scooby scene and have had mixed reaction from the name Scoobysport, it's a shame I will not get a chance to find out for myself

Was 'Pete' on his own or is there other staff that have lost jobs.

bad news,

Usha
