Good to hear it already runs. Just be careful with that rad, you wouldn't want to toast that motor just because of a few pin holes in that rather important bit of cooling device in front of the engine!

About those washers...

If you could drop me another mail again Simon, I didn't get the other one over the weekend.

Cheers,

Default plastic window thingies usually fitted to JDM

what are they actually for then ? I thought they were to allow the Japanese to smoke with the window down, whilst not letting rain in...! Works for me anyway, well that was before I gave up anyway

My drivers side plastic thingy came off at 130mph, though it was cracked already

cheers

Well that's the wipers sorted, got the headlight adjuster motors fitted tonight too, JDM 01/02MY straight on no problem, the twin headlight kit is well made and easy to fit. If it performs half as well as it went on it will be fine!

Cheers

It does not (yet) I'm still on the 02MY cards but I have a set of 04MY door cards, time will tell if they can be made to fit or not

If you look at the dash pix you can see were the 02MY card has made a dent on the 03MY dash, it looks ****e and I will change them

Cheers

First time I've heard Yorkshire called a "great place"

Just kidding

Yes, IOM is rather cool, I go over for the TT and the Manx Rally, have been going for years. As you say, no speed limits, lovely...

Car has done 250 miles now, starting to explore it in more depth (and tune it) turbo responce is wicked quick once you start fiddling with it, i'm very impressed.

Cheers

All the mechanical bits and loom in, it's running and driving (250 miles to date) now I'm doing all the "snagging" list

Cheers

Simon,

what is involved in fitting the drivetrain components?

You mention fitting the ebd abs?

can you detail what was involved in that?

i was contemplating doing this on the 22b but it has no wheel speed sensors and the rear hubs don't appear to be able to support it, though I had heard they were SVX hubs which should have been capable.
