Q.
I have nothing to 'prove' to anyone.
I would just rather you didn't mention me to potential customers of yours, that's all (and you have).
Anyway, let's discuss something interesting.

Thanks for the offer Stef...
Im looking at Petes new Brembo Caliper / AP disk / Pagid pad combo as I live just round the corner from Scoobysport. Kind of makes life easier if I have problems being local.
Hoping to be sorted by Trax... im on 2 sessions there.

James,
My advice to you would be to go for either the AP or Brembo set up, as mentioned earlier other brands of caliper do not hold up to well under the pressure put on them by track day use. Both of these manufacturers make excellent products.
Discs - if you want to go on the track DO NOT use cross drilled discs, most high friction pad materials available today are extremely aggressive on discs and will promote cracking
Pad Material - This is very much a personal choice depending on the amount of time you will spend on the track. Conversely if you spend a lot of time driving in town traffic you would want to use one of the more road oriented pads e.g. DS2000 or EBC
My opinion FWIW
