Knockhill SIDC Today
Whoops there it goes....bloody hell!!
I can remember that. As you passed the combined spray from the golf and you was like a wall of water. One of those ''oh,no'' moments.

How could i download video footage?or could someone do it for me?Havent a clue!My mate was filming me from behind in his GT4 when i got it very sideways, his comment is quite funny!
Anybody got any pics of my old wagon with the gold wheels?cant believe how well it went yesterday, managing to stay right on the back of an STI (S..JKP)lap after lap, thats with standard 2 pot brakes too, going into duffus was a bit hairy!

More than one occasion I gave a girly squeal, when I thought I was heading for the gravel

Must admit I was watching you in my mirrors coming out the hairpin. Some quality moments. My bottle for the hairpin crashed after I spun it.

Looks like i missed a good day.
Nevermind, the amount of water on the track in the vid looks a bit daunting - don't think i'd have fancied that for my first 'real' track day.
The car'll be ready next time.....lol
Dougster, YHM to the ntl account mate. Luckily I still had them on the webpop and not downloaded them to my pc, as dial-up is really freekin me off'

Most enjoyable day, i was in the standard WR blue WRX, first time on track with it and was well impressed, i could go as quick round the track in the wet as i did in the dry in my CTR. had a few hairly moments though at the bend after the chicane i thought i was going to run out of track the fence was coming closer by the second. it wasn't to bad earlier on in the morning, but come near the end of the session i thought i was wading the clyde. had a scary moment coming into duffus, there was a huge water collection just around the braking point before the bend, trying to slow down from 105mph with the ABS kicking in puts the butterflys in the stomach.
Hopefully next time it will be a little dryer, get a chance to have a natter with some of you's. anyways enjoyed, safe respecatble day with no mishaps roll on the next one.(hopefully soon).

Hi folks, great day pity the weather kinda messed it up though, still sure evojkp is quicker in the wet than he is in the dry
had to deny the pax laps John but I don't want to get the trackday bug again
P.S. never knew those Ferraris had leather clad rollcages
how
John.

Hi Gang,
Another fun day due to the KH microclimate...
I was in one the 'kit cars'
, and was wondering if anyone was bored enough to take any pics of me whilst out on track...?
(Hope I wasn't holding anybody up too much - Just running the car in - Engine only had 60 miles on it at the start of the day...190 at the end
... also still bedding in the brakes...Not a lot of grip on 13" remoulds either!!!
Thanks in advance from an ex-Scooby owner!
Ross.

Seen a few rubber ducks in the footwells of some of the 'kit cars'!!
I'd rather have a sink in the back of my white wagon!!

(It's the one with 'Glenvarigill Caterham Academy 2004' splattered down the sides...Along with the mud and grass....
)
Must admit, it was interesting watching the bow wave of brown water coming over my passenger sill if I was dumb enough to drift to the exit kerb at Clarks...

Going to have to drill a hole in the base of the drivers seat / floor to get rid of the swimming pool!!
Never had the same issues with my ol' STi Type R...Sheesh!

Hi, Good to hear everyone had a good time - Hope you don't mind another interloper on your BBS.
I was driving the Cobalt Blue S2 Elise. Hope I didn't hold anyone back, it was getting harder and harder to see if there was anyone behind me as the session went on, tried to go a bit faster but after aquaplaning into Duffas I gave up on that idea.
Cheers
Mac
