RLE - the purple cone thing you are looking at which looks like a Jet plane nose cone is not the insert. The Insert or at least the silver and gold are the 3 fins you can see just inside the front of the valve (sort of looks like a fan shape). I wasn't running a VTA before fitting the HKS but I must admit that it was a massive improvement over the oem recirc.....altho' I suppose the oem may have been faulty ?

Sorry Guys ut I'm gonna pull out of this GB as I have just ordered the recirc kit for the SQV. I cant seem to get on with the sound.....

fitted a purple insert last weekend and dont like the sound of it so its up for sale if anybody is still after one? £20 including postage

how easy are these to fit? I already have a SSQV on my car and dont have instructions.

Not difficult to fit mate - you just need to undo the Hex bolts located in the nose of the SQV. The front of the valve lifts off and you can change the insert very very easily.. 5 minute job honest

Does anyone know if the sqv comes with either of these inserts as standard or are they both different from the original one?
