Those wheels sound more of a bargain every day!!

10,000 miles is actually quite good for me and a set of tyres... must be the way I drive!!

had a valve cap nicked by a little toe rag today, saw it happen on camera at work.. ended up losing my temper with the copper, what a rude mo fo he was... Right tall ****** too.. Grrrr well annoyed with him.. The little ****** told the copper I had assulted him, all I did was nick his cap (burberry) cos he nicked my sti one's, oh well the copper is going round to arrest him this evening.. ha ha over a valve cap!

One good thing from not washing your car is you get finger prints on the wheels!

I am toying with the idea of fitting the Prodrive springs as well (then I only have to have the alignment done once.... so I am actually saving myself money in the long run!! )

Reno..

Glad you got the car back!, makes a load of difference from 'experiance' (lol!) having a new clutch...

Jolley,

Have you got all these bits on your car then??, get some pics up, good idea about the prodrive springs!

Looking forward to the next meet, better weather, sticky roads etc

I dont suppose the suspension on the scoob is too forgiving on your back either is, glad to hear its on the mend.

How is the car running oat??

That was an entertaining surprise meeting last night (though a bit of light may have helped me avoid the potholes!!)

Are we going to join the Peak tour on the 18th, or do our own little meet? ... I figure we may as well go join them, but am happy to go with the majority.

Skoosh, don't change your exhaust... the sound is one of a kind (it lets me know when to accelerate!).

If you do meet up with the smacs make sure you got your fast shoes on as they dont hang around, most of my drive's out have been with the smacs and they all know how to drive especially a man who goes by the name steelX but thats another story.

Hope you do, you'll really enjoy it me thinks.

Blitz,

The suspension is a bit rough on my back, good job I've a nice comfy citroen ax diesel as a second car!

I'll echo what Blitz says about the smacs crew, one word sums them up - MAD! lol, only went out with them once and had a right job to keep up, mind you I had put new tyres on that day so was struggling for grip.

I assume we are in agreement to join the Peak Tour? If we do, are we going to meet at Darlaston first, or is there somewhere more convinient to meet? It could be an early morning if they are meeting at 10:30!!

Just had a look on Multimap, and the route (one of many) is up to Stoke and then across on the A50 through Uttoxeter to Derby. So it might be worth meeting in the Stoke/Uttoxeter area if we are going (Maybe the Cinema at Festival Park?)

If we meet at Festival Park at 10:00, I would have to leave Buckingham at about 08:30 at the latest

May have to reconsider this party Saturday night!!

Jolley,

you will have to miss the party mate, get an early night

On another note...
As I'm not working at the moment & got nothing to do... I decided to chase up about my accident early Sept last year, so rang the solictors & was told the other party had accepted liability in September, nice of em to let me know 7 months later So my car is off to the clinic next week, then sticker time
