I put the question about the shelf life to ASPerformance and was told "oil has no probs when stored in original containers".

I questioned if the oil would last for 18 months.

Do you know if this is true for a container that has been opened?

Default Shelf life

Got this quote from the Motul website.

"What is oil shelf life ?
Motul is ISO 9001 certified and according to our quality procedure, Motul products are guaranteed for 2 years after the production date. To be sure, we keep one sample of each produced batch and check it from time to time during 2 years. After 2 years we have no experience therefore we cannot guarantee our products."

Hope this helps.

oK UPDATE

300V IS BEING REPLACED BY NEW 300V which is a new better formular
they are no longer selling the 1ltr so its just 2ltr or 4ltr

I'm now in contact with a ditributer who only deals with racing teams and the trade
the best deal is if you buy a case of 4 x 4lts he will do this at trade minus 5% delivered

he is going to get back to me with prices for individuals wanting 1 x 4ltr and 1 x 2ltr delivered, to do this he is willing to split cases and get omega to deliver

he will only except cheques

I hope you can be patient with me as i'm trying to get you all the best deal, those wanting cases can get them now at the price mentioned on page 1 minus 5%

Am interested in the price of either (1 x 4L + 1 x 1L) or )1 X 4L + 1 x 2L) depending on what can be supplied. When you say cheque, do you mean, cheque up front, and cashed before delivery?

Cheers,

Matt.

I believe they're all 4.5L unless you have an oil cooler.

They don't all have one, they are usually about 12 inches by 4, the air con condenser is as big as the radiator - but thinner.
