I can imagine why you might pretend to be a United fan in the Stretford End

At least OT has a better atmosphere that Highbury, what a load of crap that is. All of them on their phones giving commentary to mates

Went to the Manchester Derby a few weeks ago, the atmosphere was electric to the point of ear bleedingly deafening.
Have only been four time this year as only a member and have to go to ballot for tickets.
I went to the Fulham game last saturday as well, again the atmosphere was brilliant.

I agree that the atmosphere at OT is getting better. Like Charlie I am a member and cannot get to as many games as I like (only 3 this season cos i was unlucky in the ballot for 3 games) plus with being a student I am restricted to the games i can go to. The away support is excellent too, I was at the Reebok last season with the home fans
and there was more noise coming from the away fans for most of the game than the home fans (and we came back to draw from 1-0 down)
I tend to find that the atmosphere is better for the bigger games tho...

I'm an gooner season ticket holder and the atmostphere is poor. It used to be so much better few years ago, I guess everyone just sits there now with their jaw dropped...
As for great united away support, well I've not seen it at highbury. a few chants of united is about all I've heard and I'm in the block next to the away fans.
Also, there was a study a couple of years ago to see which team had the highest percentage of season ticket holders that didn't live in the area and the winner was.....Liverpool, not united.
