Stef.

I'm slowly moving towards this kit (spoke with Ben yesterday)

What (in your opinion) are the differences between running with the fast road pads and now Green Stuff pads?

David.

I didn't get a chance to use the AP pads on the road for long, but what I intend to do is use the Green Stuff on the road, then try either Red or Yellow Stuff on track.
I didn't want to be too hard on the discs unecessarily, and I've heard some of these high-performance pads are quite noisy round town.
Add to that the fact that the EBC's are dust-free and nearly half the price of some pads, and you can't really go wrong.
Go for it Dave, especially as you're now a track addict!!

I wonder if Ben and Mike fancy testing a set on my car, you know, just to be sure

Its alot of money so when I makes my choice, I cant afford for it to be wrong, but upgraded brakes must be next on my list.

Ta Stef. see you next track day

You say the brakes are noisy round town... are they like the sintered metal pads? Is that why? Can't imagine the disk will last that long...

Spence.

In his absence, (Stef's gone to Florida) I think Stef meant other (High Performance) pads are noisy around town?

his standard ones aren't and I don't think the EBC green stuff ones are that he is running on now are either.

Mike.

Dust free-NOT, I had them on my R19 16V and they made a real mess of the alloys! BUT they did stop well
