I think the main interest is that this simulation is incredibly realistic. It is realistic enough that we could discuss vehicle dynamics and set-ups to see what difference it makes to the handling of the car, etc as the physics model is incredibly accurate.
In addition, it's kind of nice to hammer around a circuit with your mates without the worry of crashing your real car.

It is UNCANNY how similar that is to the official one we've done! The ONLY differences are as follows :
No logo on the roof (although that looks good, so we'll probably stick that on!!
)
The orange part at the rear side is a straight line diagonal rather than curve
The whole of the rear is orange rather than the cut off
and the lower section of the sides and front is grey.
How bizzare!
So, does anyone know if these can be set to show up in online games? Or does each person need to have the skin installed?

i think you need to have the skins installed on your machine to see them while your racing otherwise you see a plain car, if i remember

I think everyone can see the skins, i have been on servers with other teams and i could see there personal team cars, which had there own gfx on it. Will you do a skin for the MRT5 as im adictited to that car, plus i have 1 bad *** setup on it . ill send if anyone wants it ( hmm should i though i wana win )

I can't get on 
I enter the session name and password in the Join Game screen then click GO, it says connecting to host then after a few seconds the GO and Back buttons reappear.
I've tried it on versions 0.3e and 0.3f, any ideas what could be up?

Just had another thought - Is the server running on standard port nos?

the best way to be sure is to show a list of all games then click the one you want (public or private).
Make sure you have the game set to "demo" also

Simon when is the skin going to be available? Also how were you managing to drift the car last night with out spinning 
I have been trying to corner with drift and the car just spins and its not easy to correct over steer without it reversing back the other way and spinning out of control 
Are you using a keyboard or steering wheel?
Also anyone else only just started playing this and think its going to take hours and hours to get 200 points to unlock the turbo car? I can only match the speed on the 'ok' level ai cars and even then they stick right on my bumper and spin me off on corners
lol Getting very frustrated! I have earned a pathetic nine points so far so 200 seems like an eternity away Oh and thats with using a car setup downloaded off the games forum

If you upload the skins when completed to lfsfiles then everyone can see your skin . so once the SN skinds are completed upload them all so we can all use em proplerly

Its not listed on the server page though so wonder if the scoobynet server for the game is down? I have just bought the full version as at £12 its worth it so off to practice as I need to big time I'm now on 21 points and need at least 150 to unlock the next car in the game or 200 for the turbo in the demo version Might just get another car by Christmas

about 9-11 i don't bother with the public server though - always busy with none scoobynetters i guess, i just stick to the private one
also Simon plays on the private server, don't know about the public server though - might also have my mate on tonite to make up the numbers
