the 22B may well of been Robs & the STi7 you talk of sounds like Darrens both have been regular Cov meeters although i dont think Darrens coming out to play at the minute & Rob will only bring the beasty out if it's dry & he seems to be hinting at a new car but we'll have to see how that turns out......Anyway i'll try & get the other scooby-si to bring his 22B along but really dont be put off by anything flying about on this thread i am usually infamous for takin up pages of gob shyte lol. Seriously it is anything but a boy racer muppet meet you'll find we're a friendly bunch & the majority of peaps who come drag er i mean bring the whole family, or iminent family how's the pregnant folks doing? (note to Harj dont mess with hormonal women lol)
Scoobs come in all shapes sizes & mod status & all are welcome from the standard 1.8gl to highly mdified rarities & not to mention a few of us with different cars altogether
Come along m8 dont be shy, whots yer car BTW i've seen a few scoobs i dont recognise driving around Nuneaton, yes i too am a tinsle town resident as the folks at work call it lol, & wondered if you were one of those i might of seen about?
Cheers folks
Si

Cool

hello si
my99 uk, dark blu/gold wheels mate, fmic, upgraded turbo etc, 396 bhp at 1.5 bar as grade 4 conversion by rc developments. proven dyno results at well lane and 12.21 qtr mile / 157.4 mph top speed, she goes quite well 22b eater

is that darens the one that was in banzai mag?440bhp? LOL, wots up with him, summer driver only or something, no point having a car to lock in the garage and not use it. Never understood people like that, their only cheap japenese sportscars (errr, obvoiusly very quick ones) , not exactly rare ferrari classics worth over a million pounds are they, no disrepect anyone, butOMG get a life? my my99 is my pride and joy and i can hardly afford to run it, but its only a cheap car at the end of the day [rant mode off]

is that why they're magazine featured, 'cause they're never used

i might come to this meet after all si, couple of you sound top blokes

Roger clarke? as in the rally driver?

no mate, RC DEVELOPMENTS is what i said

yep, ur right i'm bitching now

why doesn't daren come out to play then, has he been banned for being a **** like this harj dick?

already done a few track days, but very expensive hobby, ie every track day equals

2 tanks juice
10 litres methanol
2 bottles nf booster
50% of set slicks
insurance for racing
1 set front pads
trackday costs

hmmmmmm, not cheap hobby

Last edited by Lord Fraud; 14 February 2004 at 03:11 PM. Reason: to add done track days

Lord Fraud

We all joke and jest on here as most of us know each other have a good time meeting up!

Come to the meet and make your own mind up before calling people Dicks!

I don't see a problem with anyone not willing to take their car out as its their car and they can choose how and when they want to bring it along.

Oh BTW im not a Scooby driver either

aha i just saw RC & presumed it was Roger CLarke as they are the daddies for meaty scoobs locally & further afield (they're based just west of Leicester FYI) it was them that did the work on Darrens big BHP beast, yes that is him with the 440 odd BHP BTW, anyway tiz all good & as already said lets all meet up & have a fun time over a lager shandy ahh i love valentines days love is in the air lol oh & it's me b'day tomorrow & i defo need the funds to cover the costs of me car & need to save for all the track days bills as described above lol
Si (enjoying not having pea taken out of him for a change lol)

Are RCMS any good by the way as RC Developments are foooking miles away

Have any of you lot used them for serious bhp/cars? I tried TSL once in Nottingham, more of a shiny ultra loud dumpvalve place who force feed you sales pitchs, not keen on them................have u seen their 22b? LOL, nearly wet meself. Told the owner he's not got a clue....he weren't impressed LOL

No worries Lord Fraud, I don't drive a Mercedes of a BWW, but a BMW Owner LOL

Don't pass judgement till you see me and the car mate

Oh also an EVO Owner too but I won't degrade myself to admitting that too often

I leave my Wife at home as someones gotta look after the 2 kids or they will end up spending as much as me on cars but they have (real) Tomy Toy car sets LOL

No reply from Jag yet on this thread? hmm I think he's gone all Poo 1 Elitist Wake up Jag!

& to answer yer question yes RCMS are excellent when it comes to very modified scoobies etc & you will definately make friends with yer TSL talk i recall Rob luved mocking their 22B & Daz wasn't impressed with their work on his car but RCMS did & do fantastic work, admitedly not always the cheapest but then if you wanted cheap carp as a nuneatonian you'd go to midland impreza pmsl!
Their is also Dave @ API engines as i recall, bit drunk so may of got that a bit wrong, who regularly freequents our meets & while he wasn't someone i used when i had my scooby he does seem a very knowledgeable scooby expert with excellent & well priced services
Si (i really should be on commision lol)
PS Harj dont be shy tell him you have a beama which had neons & did the gumball lol

MIDLAND IMPREZA

Its going going going GONE !

They are selling up and are soon to be no more !!!!!

Rob, how is Tony coming on with the spray work I passed him last week? Most likely not touched them yet . Can you push him to get them done b4 this meet mate ! Also any luck with the brackets for the fog light covers from Paul ?

RE The Fast Show at Santa Pod I am trying to sort out a day off for the Sunday? I want to give my car a run against the clock and the odd P1 that might try and stand in the way (Ken or Tim) lol .

Lord Fraud, Come and join the ***** mate. I can also recommend the golden touch of Rob and Sausage fingers Dave for a bit of fettling. Just dont let Sausage fingers anywhere near your intercooler !!!!

Harj, when Matt owened the M5 he wore his flat cap, slippers, smoking jacket, cravat and a pipe when he drove the car, a total gentleman. You on the other hand have a flying helmet, matching Jacket, white scalf and flies in your teeth ready to overtake anyone in your path. . We will have to start calling you the Red Barron !

Si, going to take me out for a spin this time ?

Cheers

Neal

Neil! Thanks for the kind words erm I think LOL

It was that nasty wood that I had ripped out of the car as it suited Matt, Im a carbon or Aluminium sort of chap

Found someone who's potentially gonna buy the EVO so here comes the SuperCharger Roll on 650bhp low Boost

Justin, try Liverpool & Victoria! Cheapest insurer ive ever found, they even insured me with my track record LOL

Justin, Liverpool & Victoria are great but you have to be over 30yrs. Website states no mods but give them a bell and as long as you have had no engine internals upgraded they will insure you.

Check out the insurance section on SN.
