2nd World Rally this year for me.

I'm staying at the Hotel Grunde in Trier Thurs-Monday. Whats the chances of getting the hookup on the VIP pass?

Anyone staying at this place. It looks pretty modest. I'd like to tag along in my rental with someone who is serious about seeing stages.

I arrive 4pm from the states in Luxembourg Thursday.

Anyone

I take it nobody is staying in hotels in Trier?? You camping or what??

I should be getting my rally passes on Friday. I'm looking foward to seeing some sick STi's and WRX's on the way to the stages....

Only if I could bring mine, I'd see if Panizzi would give it a go on the transit as he tried to do with me in Mexico!!

I'll be in a Focus 3dr Hatch. Primavera, I'll try to run that down. Paulinstrasse 8 is the address for my place. If you see two tall americans rolling around town that look lost and have SRT-USA and SWRT gear on, that's us.

Ceremoneal Start! We'll be there

DHL just delivered the event passes, so we're all set now!

Funny, I'm sure the site said the passes came on their own and you had to buy lanyards etc. separately, but they came with lanyard, event map and car sticker! ...and a €5 discount for being a member of ADAC, bargain

See you all in less than a week!

Cool

Rich AFAIK

We get there mid afternoon throw tents up, attempt to get to shakedown, then into trier in the evening for some kick off parade

Friday get up watch some cars, friday night we can either join the convoy to the party or head back to the campsite.

Sat we spend all day with the SWRT.
sat evening party by Subaru Gmbh

Sunday watch some cars go past then head back to BBN

monday not sure?

I dare say there will be the odd oppotunity to consume an alcoholic beverage or 2

Scoobychick-

I'll be there. I arrive in Luxembourg at 3:30pm Hopefully I'll be checked in to the hotel by 5pm. DHL has not delivered my rally passes yet, but I got a email from GP Tickets that I present my invoice to the ticket counter and I get my passes. But what about my 18EUR shipping expense?? I guess I'll find out later. I'm not to pleased with that experience... Bah...

I will be at the opening ceremonies. Hopefully!!

I currently have 4 passes to the Subaru GmbH party for saturday night, these are €40 each and give you access to the party and food and drink.

If anyone is interested then let me know asap so that we can arrange to meet up somewhere and do the transaction.

Cheers

Steve

Taff it is near the Bostalsee service area in the Subaru tent in front of the See-Hotel Weingärtner other than that I have no idea where these places are.

From Trier, take the A1 autobahn south then the A62 east. Take the autobahn junction for the L330 and head east to Türkismühle, then the L135 to Gonnesweiler. The campsite should then be signposted to the right on a road call Soternerstrasse (I think!). It should be on the East side of the lake (Bostalsee). The service area is directly opposite on the west side of the lake.

You should be able to just follow the signposts of the Autobahn to the service area and then just drive around the lake to find the campsite!
