I think his comments about styling are pretty valid. Japanense cars may look aggressive or functional but many are lacking on the visual side what they make up on the mechnical and engineering side over their European rivals. No one could ever claim the Scoob or and Evo IV are tuly gorgeous as much as I like them and thats the point. They might make the most reliable and fantastic cars but generally they are a bit dull to look at.
As I think we'd agree who cares what they look like ,unless its truly awful , most owners are interested in dynamics and knowing the thing isn't going to fall to pieces.

Arron's right
This month's Car Magazine is well worth a read, especially the comparison of the Ferrari 360 and the Evo VI Makinen (just read the article..).
I think my Scooby's great - but the Evo VI looks like one hell of a car.

I agree that it seemed a bit disjointed and I was dissapointed not to see more of the Scooby/Evo VI, he should have left this for the end!
Still nice to see him back, loved the blowing up the Arna (but it wasn't his hand grenade that did it - the engine went first) I really must get into this, more interesting, side of pyrotechnics

ARRON, I have driven a GT-S and have been a passenger in a GT-R and I stand by my comment of Bugger all driver involvment.
How do you know what I have or haven't driven anyways ?? I never post a comment without first hand experience...and I always take mag reviews with a pinch of salt
Gethin.

Have to agree with Gethin on this one (Why are we always arguing ).
You have to admit, they are about as challenging to drive as Gran Tourismo. This doesn't mean they are a crap car, but they must have one of the most active handling set-ups of any car on the road? It is absolutely without question that a Subaru take a lot more driving that a Skyline.
They're great fun, but not rally a true driver's car IMHO.
I haven't seen the eppisode yet but have it recorded for when I get back from hols.
Cheers
