Does that make my house a ****hole? I think not. I live in a 'posh' bit. My kids go to school with other kids. Other kids seem to know the word cu*t, and seem to insist that it be used on a daily basis to scare the teachers. Of course - the housing estate I live in is populated by general scum of the earth - GPs, lawers, seccy of the golf club, people with 2 jags (fat snobby bastids )

I didn't realise that GPs, Lawyers, seccys to golf club and jag drivers lived in 'estates'.


Anyway, rich maybe but not posh. where's the sense of decorum and politeness? When I was a kid I hardly ever heard a swear word until secondary school and even then the word c**t was very rarely ever used. Boll*cks on the other hand...

And I didn't grow up anywhere 'posh'. A little village with mainly working class, a fair splattering of middle but no real 'upper' class people. On the whole, people were polite (and still are back in that village) and politeness has nothing to do with how rich you are or how many jags on the estate but more to do with how nice you are.

my eldest is 7, the kids at her school regard the words like "bitch" as pretty serious.....to the extent that some of them even call each other "the B word" in the playground just in case they are overheard.

im sure they are aware of s*** and possibly F*** but only because they heard it from their parents and they dont use it with each other.

i went to the same school 25 years ago and glad to say it was the same then. Secondry school is different as the words will filter down from 16/17 year olds but a junior schools eldest are only 10ish.

He was trying to put a brave face on it, but you could tell he was a bit scared about being voted off.

I didn't know what to make of him - sometimes he was quite funny, but other times he came across as a right fanny.
