Please can we have our old Scoobynet format back, 45.03% prefered the old one as the poll said.
Spell check: preferred = prefered the old one, not as above by the way.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
New is not always better IMHO.
By all means evolve , but this is not what a high proportion of us like, the backlash may evolve, sometime it pays to listen if you care.

The trouble with up to date software is it makes your computer seem so slow.
It’s made my old 2.6GHz P4 behave like a 50MHz PI, and as for my cable connection its just not up to it anymore

It's poor.
All the old one needed was the same "For Sale" categories the new one has, but where there's a chance of a buck being made (paying to start a thread in For Sale for example), it will always be taken.
Hate it, hate it, hate it.

Looks Ok, It'll be better when I'm used to it.
Does seem a bit slow though.
Can't add yourself to the buddy/vip list. That used to be very helpful to keep track of the threads you had contributed to.
Cheers

Why is it so slow?
Even with broadband it takes forever....
Bring back the old Scoobynet if it can't be sped up..it will take me all day to read all the threads

It looks great but is FAR too slow...even on my 1Mb adsl connection it is painfully slow. Hopefully it will be as fast as before but it is already a LOT more functional. I dont use any other boards but i have never found the old one a problem....heres to progress anyway

nice - but!!!!
New site looking good, a change is a good as a what ever.
Simple design very effective, the only grumble so far is in the forums the drop down menus when scanning over the thread titles - a bit annoying as they get in the way sometimes.
But still I can live with this.

Don't find the speed an issue - looks good.
First impressions :
The lost favourites are going to take ages to refind, some of which are things kept there to find for easy reference - and as the search doesn't work ? then I can't even refind them yet.
Some way to even find out what they were (thread id) would be nice.
VIP's easily restored.
It would also be nice to be able to turn the preview message box off too, I hate that stuff - when I want to see what's in the thread/message I'll click on it - please please an option to turn this off.
Signatures working again would be good, but it would be nice to prevent bandwidth grabbing images from being placed in them, text only sigs please.
Avatars - option to turn it on/off present but no way to set one up - I assume this hasn't been enabled yet ?
Otherwise keep up the good work.
Oh and finally - bit annoyed about having to pay to put things up for sale. . . . . not that I do very often, but that's not the point.

Use of proper BB software - should make downtime much less
Dislikes:
Interface - far too cluttered and fussy looking. Removing the box around each message would make things look a lot neater
Speed - I'm on dial up at work so won't even contemplate looking from work. Painfully slow on ADSL - get rid of the muppet forums and then 80% of the crap will go, the servers will be able to cope with the demand - although that will affect your stats to entice advertisers with ...

Joint Scoobynet+ Membership
Simon - Shaun what about having a joint membership for the couples that are on here as a lot of other subscription sites have joint membership for couples at a discount.
There are numerous couples on here so I think they would agree!

First impression is negative I'm afraid. Much prefered the previous layout. The good thing about the old Scoobynet was its simplicity, it was so easy to navigate - an absolutlely brilliant website.
IMHO Scoobynet just looks cluttered now. Can't see myself using it as often as I did
