Sorry to be a pain, but Ill ask again, have you recieved my emails, or read my posts on this thread, as my posts seem to go ignored, when you are answering other peoples question
I know you are busy trying to get things sorted, but its sort of frustrating when both yourself & Shaun have bypassed my questions, in answering other peoples questions

Hi Sonic. I'm sorry.
As said before, just send an email to shaun letting him know not to user your cheque.
I don't know if we've received it yet, as shaun gets them and has been out since early this morning.
If you've sent the email, we'll definitely rip it up (promise!! )
Apologies again, didn't mean to ignore you

Looks pretty good guys!
However, Where is the VIP list gone?? The Buddy List isn't the same at all, I used the VIP list all the time to follow threads that I and others had been contributing to. Please bring it back!!!

what has happened to VIP's and other functions
RE: the lower post counts - I would have thought this is due to the old software not lowering the postcount when a thread is removed. Having done a few VBulletin implementations I know that the initial postcount is generated directly from all the users posts that have been imported. It should therefore be spot on!

Hi Simon
Theres 2 of my thread from "Non Scooby..." missing. I posted 2 last Friday called "What to do in Leeds" and "What to do in Newcastle". Neither seem to be there, i had a good look through the section.

I thought this with my car for sale post, but then I changed the setting to show posts from last week, and it was there, several more pages down, even though a post had been made on the thread before the upgrade, and was on page one of the original for sale forum, but somehow and strangely dissapeared to page 7 or 8 !
with only 3 or 4 posts made since mine
Simon
Thanks for the reply, I hadnt sent the cheque, and paid by paypal last night, but it threw up a 404 IIS error on returning back to SN, and wasnt sure if there was any additonal info that was required, as I wasnt asked for an address etc

I'm very pleased with the changes - starting to get used to the new look but I cant really think of any major negatives that I have seen so far.
Congratulation to Simon, Shaun and everyone else - and congratulations on putting up with all the questions about minor points that I'm sure will be ironed out in time
One thing though that I think needs to be addressed asap (and sorry if this has been mentioned before I havent seen it) is that people that cant post threads in the for sale/wanted areas are already staring to post such threads elsewhere.
IMO this needs to be strictly moderated, which Im sure is being done, otherwise those that have paid the small charge will feel agrieved, and those that havent will start to flood the rest of the board with ads.
Apart from that I have no real issues - been meaning to get a Plus subscription off for a while (have already saved myself much more than £25 on information alone, not to mention entertainment ) so will probably do that when I get round to it.
Well done and thank you,
John

Bloody hell, been away for a few days, popped back on and it's all changed
Looking good even though its still early days, you must have put some hours in to get all this running in 2 wks!
I shall be purchasing a sub this evening.
Well done,
Alex

We know its easy to complain, so if that's the case I will.
Scoobynet 3 is bright garish and downright uncomfortable at the movement.
The colours are not at all easy on the eye, with two much white, burning my eyeballs out.
The whole thing is splattered with icons and looks a right old jumble what with blue and black text together.
Navigation is a nightmare.
By the way I am not a stick in the mud and do like change, whether I change away from Scoobynet is another matter.
It is still the best forum around, no matter how they mess it about IMHO

There should be an icon somewhere bottom right of your posts but for some of us that still need our profiles updating we can't see it

Yep you loose the opportunity to edit after a certain amount of time, so be careful.
The way round it is to type it into an image and host the image, then you can remove it anytime you like.
Pigs ear
Hate it!

Good luck with importing the favourites and old email notifications, that very important IMHO.
