Not sure about it , I'll see how it goes.
Where's all the old threads gone , can't seem to find anything.Where's all the cars for sale gone!Tried to go back further but there's nothing there,
Wot if you don't like PayPal, got ripped off once and that was enough.
Bah Humbug ,I'm going.
Cheers

Someone has obviously done some fixing, as this is MUCH faster, the fonts looks better sized and is altogether more usable. MUCH better than earlier. Well done
Software functionality = excellent.
Without wishing to be nit-picky, the chosen interface is still a wee bit cluttered: Would look better without the 3D effects on the QuickReply and Poll placards. This is an extremely small niggle, though, as layout wise things are definitely an improvement.
Google Ads are 100% better in their current location.
Simon, can't help but think that if you had put these in here with the layout change, and not on the old board layout, nobody would even have noticed them If the google ads were put on the right hand side, above one another, and the Quick Reply on the left of them, then things would appear more logical.
But for criticisms of the interface, that is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Definitely an improvement over earlier.
Not so sure about the ScoobyNet Plus commercial aspect of things, though. Feels a bit like our friendly community is 'selling out' to commercial pressures. I know it's not like that: please don't be offended. But it is how it feels.
On the whole, a step in the right direction, though, guys. Thanks for the hard work.

a few issues right now.
all my subscribed threads are gone, as are my favourites. Some of these go back years. Are these going to be imported settings or am i going to have to trawl through everything?
I cant edit any of my old posts, i can only edit newly created posts.
Some threads are 4 pages long but only display 3 pages until you come out of the thread and click on the 4th page tab in the thread title, so if you read through a thread you miss a load of replies.
I cant switch off google adds?
I dont like the fact page two retains the stickies at the top of the page when i already saw them on page one, it wastes space.
cheers

The new site does seem to be nice. I use the word nice because it's to early to judge.
I would like the VIP back though as that was a good way of reading up on the replys on your posts and your fellow scooby netters.
Also as someone said "smileys look abit 1940's in grey"
Love all the other colours and boxing, they look great.
And as been mentioned, it does seem quicker.
Well done to the ones that keep up the good work to enable us to comunicate with each other about interests we all share..........

all my subscribed threads are gone, as are my favourites
i.e. ""http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=ABCDEF"" will become..
Haven't sussed how to rectify all saved threads in one go though. Perhaps the IT guys can assist here?
Edited so that there was no particular thread intended for demonstration...

when you say they are all still there, do you mean using your IE favourites? Whats now missing is the old BBS favourites and the old BBS subscriptions. It's going to be a complete pain in the **** trying to find those again, so i hope they can be imported.

Gotta say, although I had my doubts and I said na this morning, it is on the whole very good. Even the adverts are cool (Well done Simon et all on that one - you can see them but they are not too intrusive unlike the mid thread ones)
I like it, and advertising to sell stuff sounds reasonable to me. Well done guys

Without looking at 5 pages of posts...
My main critisism is that the name of the thread starter under the thread title makes it much harder to scan the thread titles on a forum page, as they are no longer contiguous.
