In addition to my previous post...
They say the Blitz is only good for 1.2bar, how much boost are you running ?
And also, can you make a universal model Blitz fit, or do you need some kinda adapter kit?

This is the One I am using but with a 'trumpet' outlet with gauze fitted to quieten. I am running 1.4bar with no problems - I machined a new adapter to enable fitment to the Hybrid pipework with a Samco reducer

Well i have almost finished fitting mine......just the induction and dump valve to sort out then it's road test time!! :
Who was it that said the bumper needs trimming back quite a bit ??....i was getting rather worried with the ever increasing pile of plastic cuttings, and they were right...you are not left with much afterwards.

The fitting of the cooler and pipes was very straight forward, i didn't have to cut or modify the pipework from the turbo outlet. It just touches the inlet to throttle body hose but hopefully it will not cause any problems. It was the cutting of the bumper that takes alot of time and patience BUT it is worth it.....all i need now is a front splitter to cover up the intercooler mounting brackets and hose clamps.

If you check Harvey's 3rd G/buy on 22b.com he has delivered prices for polished & unpolished which includes the duty VAT etc and delivered from stock in UK. Less of a lottery now it seems.

RESULT!!...car drives fine with no problems,no apparent turbo lag, some induction noise (have to get use to that) and it pulls very well from 4000rpm onwards.

I am well pleased with the result...just need to get it rolling road tested to find out how much HP and torque gains i got.

BIG thanks to Harvey :

Back to the dump valve...
I've fitted a Blitz dump valve, but no matter how I adjust it, I get a lot of noise from the turbo (stalling ?). With the oem recirc dump valve I don't have this problem.

Any ideas, does anyone else have similar probs?

Fitting - Started Sat 2pm, Car running by 7pm Sunday - 2 extra hours monday night to re-fit driving lights + an hour or so a week later to fit a protective grill over FMIC.

D/V - I'm still running the standard plastic unit from my 98my uk turbo - no issues that I can positively put down to d/v - I've not been re-mapped yet, so not using the FMIC to full potential.

Hope this helps,

Mark

If everything goes smoothly it may be possible but it might be a little optimistic

Yes - could be done - I spent about 2 hours trying to get hold of a security torx bit - in the end I couldn't, so had to drill the F..er off.....

Pipewise, I found the O/S inner wing pipe (2nd in line from turbo->intercooler) the most difficult....

Also, if you can see one done first I reckon it would help....
