Good and Bad news

The good news is that the paper work for the engines arrived this morning at my home address, which is excellent as I was getting a bit worried.

The bad news is they arrive tomorrow ! 9 days from Chicago to the UK, not bad. I will ring tomorrow to arrange collection and will then start planning delivery. I'd not planned to take any time off work in the next two weeks but can most likely sort out a couple of days off. I may arrange collection and delivery at the same time. Will confirm tomorrow.

I only have 5 gasket sets, but I as I'm not in a hurry to build mine (next season most likely) I can wait till the second groupbuy for a gasket set.

Anybody interested in the 2nd Groupbuy please contact me, I only have spaces for another 2-3 people.

I now have details for the duty and VAT to pay and need to collect the pallet ASAP.
These are stored at East Midlands Airport and they won't split the pallet which means if I have them delivered (£90) its to my address till I collect the money and sort delivery. I will contact people tomorrow regarding delivery.
The good news is the duty was not charged at 10% and therefore my initial calculations are well with budget.

I just need to check the UK amount transfered to the US before sending you all the final bill.

Would those people taking delivery prefer COD?

Mark,

I can come and collect my engine and gaskets at the weekend. Or, even one night this week, if required?

No Bats you need to buy me COD & chips with every engine sold.

I've decide to have the engines shippped to my address. I will sort delivery from here over the next week. If people want to collect next week it will need to be COD.

2nd Groupbuy will be the final, as I never set out to make money from this but had a much bigger interest than imagined. The cost will be the same as the first GB @£1050 with the full gasket set @ £160 extra.

Only two places left, if your interested PM me quick.

Default Gaskets sets

Yeah I think I might be ordering a couple extra in the next GB.

Full gasket set cost £162.

I will e-mail you all tonight with the final price. Engines arrive Wednesday, I will be off work that day and I have arranged storage till I can ship them out or they are collected.

I will need to just check everything is Ok with the engines before releasing them. Collections could start Wednesday afternoon all being well.

Default Forgive me please!

Hi Chaps, forgive me for this but I wonder if any of you chaps are considering selling your 2 ltr blocks.
A very dear friend has a JDM STI 7 RA which has gone looney bang and I think he will be told in a couple of days what he requires.
Can anyone help??

Many thanks in advance.

I've read through all the posts and it's not all sinking in very well. I have a 94 wrx sti, what else would i need to buy to have the car up and running with the 2.5 block. Obviously other parts will be acquired but at a later date when funds allow. Sorry if this has already been answered and i missed it.
