Harvey: Just to let you know that I have taken over Dion Arbid's (DXX) purchase of the Hybrid I/C. He was in the first group buy, and he had major problems transfering the funds (money going to the wrong place etc.) He recalled the money back to his bank and advised Mr Chan that I would be paying for the Intercooler. Mr Chan sent me his Paypal details and I sent him the payment last week (Friday) and my address. Since sending the Paypal payment I've heared nothing, I'm still waiting for confirmation that the Intercooler has been shipped to me.

DreXel: Your payment is confirmed in H.K. Please e-mail me with your details.
Name, delivery address, e-mail address and contact phone numbers.
new boy:No. Read the thread and look at the fitting project already posted.
Scootie: YHM. It will be sorted.
Ayaz: Thanks. It is in hand and I will get back.

Miki : I don`t know anything about the unpolished so I suggest you e-mail Mr Chan direct on that score.
Quicksprint : The second GB closed in February but another one is planned for May if the Webmaster allows us to continue doing them in the same format.
Alternatively, if you want one before the group buy e-mail me per my address previously on this thread.

Thanks Harvey, I won't hassle him with the unpolished ones yet then, I'll wait until he has cleared these polished kits first.
Unless it takes too long, of course...

At long last i have now got my FMIC from parcel force. After a week of waiting for them to deliver to my door i ended up going to collect it toiday.
It looks like a real nice bit of kit and i now can't wait to start fitting it.
Just like to say a big thanks to harvey for sorting out this group buy and if i see you at scooby shootout again this year i owe you a burger and a cup of tea.
Cheers,
Barry C

Glad you have it Barry. I will settle on a beer when we meet mate.
Miki: That is appreciated. I will be on the trail of the unpolished as soon as I have the polished sorted out.
Everybody: My contact man has been away on business this week but I did have contact with him and sent a synopsis of where we are at based on what you have e-mailed me or posted on here. Issues to resolve are sea freight and receipt of funds from two or three guys. No contact or anything positive since Wednesday so i have e-mailed again this morning. It is not being ignored here and I will report back asap.
Seperately there is a post in General by Webmaster in respect of Group Buys and a post started by me on a flat annual nominal fee to be able to post on S/net being preferable to restricting GBs to S/net advertisers.
You may wish to be aware of them if you do not read General.

Hi Andreas : This is really good news, thank you for letting us know.
I have individually e-mailed Gerry, Iain, Ken, Fraser, John, and Scott this morning with the new air freight tracking numbers and would ask that you guys keep me up to date.
I will get back to Mika, Andy, Ayaz and Edward on Monday, probably late and the info for Ben/DreXel is now with Oz.
Unless I am mistaken the thread started by Webmaster about restricting GBs to only SNet advertisers has been totally removed without trace after it was comprehensively shot down. Looks to me like ScoobyNet is going downhill.

Hi Harvey thanks for your mail. I sent a reply to you which basically says that I tried the No you sent but it's 12 characters and the tracking site needs a 13 character No.
I put a C at the start to give a similar format to the original sea freight No and it comes back as 'no details unfound'. Of course it could be too soon but wondered if any of you other guys had tried successfully?
Thanks again for all your work on this g/b. Shame it could be the last. I know that without them there's no way I'd have considered buying an FMIC saving iro £800. Fatman's Gruppe S headers saved me another £500 ish and so on......
Very difficult to please all the people all of the time but if it's unnecessary traffic (clutter) that's causing a problem it may have been possible to have a FAQ that answers the repetitive queries like which oil, tyres, insurance, lights, petrol, ecl codes....etc. I'm a relative Newby and would find this invaluable especially as the search facility is now unavailable to non plus members.

I have also tried exactly the same as you putting a C at the beginning but I am also not getting anything.
Could be to soon though, Harvey did only get the fax this morning. But will keep on trying.
Cheers

Guys: Please try the track nos. starting CV0.... Monday am and let me know. I actually have the despatchers customs declarations, here stamped and the number above the bar code starts V0301...... but there is another number CV03015........
Looks to me as if Australia Post are ten times worse than The Royal Mail which personally I found to be pretty good. Pitty it does not exist anymore. Politics anyone.....
Ayaz, Ben and Edward, I have e-mailed individually and I am waiting for info from Hybrid on Monday so I can confirm the situation.
Mika: We should have the missing brackets sorted Monday.
UNPOLISHED: To expedite orders would any of the unpolished guys consider changing to polished?

Gerry: Plenty other places we can go if things don't improve round here or we are not welcome.
I thought this was a community and properly run GBs were there to help all of us afford mods we might not otherwise have enjoyed. A bit like putting the fingers up to rip off Britain or rip off Scooby suppliers. Clearly coming out and saying GBs had gone far enough was not thought out properly just from the enormous reaction and climb down. I have also noticed that the majority of the guys who gave sound technical input, as a result of their own experience, now do not post or post infrequently and that has come about since the advent S/Net 3.
If you look at the technical content, General, Drivetrain, etc. and then compare it with the rest it looks like the whole slant of ScoobyNet has changed as have the objectives.

Thanks mate,
Ben.
